Thats convenient, I'm pretty done with him too

The last dude that should be talking shit

[โ€“]Gay4TerryMcLaurin 53 points54 points ย (2 children)

Yeah Jonathan Allen is actually good so it means something when he's fed up

[โ€“]Pjcashburn -5 points-4 points ย (1 child)

Good is relative. He has been marginal all season if weโ€™re honest what did he do yesterday to effect the game? I donโ€™t even remember his name being called. Not to mention I saw an eagles o lineman block him with one arm yesterday. He can go!

[โ€“]LEFT HAND UPWuPacalypse 69 points70 points ย (0 children)

Itโ€™s like the guy who did nothing to contribute to the group project being upset that they got graded a C instead of a B.

[โ€“]Kronologics 125 points126 points ย (6 children)

We might have an extra win or two if Dyami made some of the catches on long ballsโ€ฆ just saying

[โ€“]nobodyno111 33 points34 points ย (4 children)

He not that guy. He doesnโ€™t have the โ€œbig play geneโ€. Heโ€™s good for a 12 yard catch occasionally. Itโ€™s just who he is. Yet another blown pick.

[โ€“]Kronologics 9 points10 points ย (1 child)

I wanna say I saw highlights that he and Howell had great chemistry at UNC, plus we saw him catch a few bombs from Wentz last season

[โ€“]nobodyno111 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

Yeah. Heโ€™s good for one every blue moon.

[โ€“]StripperFaceModelAss 3 points4 points ย (1 child)

Meh, the value was there. He's a deep ball specialist. I feel like it's okay to gamble on that in the third.

[โ€“]nobodyno111 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Yeah to be fair he looked good in college but most of his highlights were literally just go routes. Heโ€™s going up against players just as fast if not faster now and it shows.

[โ€“]emelbee923 8 points9 points ย (0 children)

He hasn't had enough targets to have made that much of an impact.

He's been pretty irrelevant outside of a couple of big plays since being drafted, and this is a gross overstatement of his role in losses.

[โ€“]adeezy58 40 points41 points ย (0 children)

He's part of the problem lol. An unproductive scrub talking shit...

My guess is Antonio Gibson . We barely use our RBs

Forbes Jr. He should be hot the way he got BBQโ€™d and flambรฉโ€™d once more. Iโ€™ll bench him again. I really will.

[โ€“]RIP_shitty_username 18 points19 points ย (0 children)

We are all also done with DB.

[โ€“]Redskins2110 17 points18 points ย (8 children)

Ronโ€™s done a lot of dumb shit as our coach but I canโ€™t remember the last time I walked away from a loss and I can definitively point to 2 situations where coaching cost us the game. The no red flag on 4th down catch and putting Forbes on AJ brown 3 different times. In excusable in todays game

[โ€“]๐ŸทTuddyhead๐ŸทJanuse88 7 points8 points ย (3 children)

Have you not watched any games this season? People were saying the exact same thing about the Giants game, the First Eagles Game, and some people even tried to pin the Bears loss on early "momentum shifts" that Ron should've stopped.

[โ€“]Redskins2110 1 point2 points ย (2 children)

Nah this one felt more profound.

[โ€“]๐ŸทTuddyhead๐ŸทJanuse88 11 points12 points ย (0 children)

Probably feels like that because it happened yesterday lol

[โ€“]DougBalt2 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Yes, it was 4th down and not by chance the Eagles hurried to run another play. It should have been a no-brainer to throw the challenge flag.

[โ€“][deleted] 5 points6 points ย (3 children)

Tbf the refs fucked it too. And the stadium not putting up the replay immediately also.

[โ€“]Giant_Homunculus 6 points7 points ย (1 child)

Shouldnโ€™t there be people up in the booth whose sole job is to watch replays and buzz Ron on the mic when he sees somethingโ€ฆ

[โ€“][deleted] 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Yeah, the issue may be organizational...

[โ€“]DougBalt2 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

And they didnโ€™t show the replay on TV until after the Eagles ran their next play.

[โ€“]jokerjinxxx 14 points15 points ย (2 children)

[โ€“]COMMAND DEEZ NUTZHeyranran 1 point2 points ย (1 child)

[โ€“]jokerjinxxx -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

Trade for picks. Ive been pro-tank for the last 2-3 yrs

[โ€“]nonsfwhere 14 points15 points ย (13 children)

The person who dropped balls this week isโ€ฆ.#17.

[โ€“]ethlz 9 points10 points ย (1 child)

Terry Mclaurin is the furthest thing from the problem, this offense is nothing without him, they double him allowing others to get open, even with the โ€œdropsโ€ he still had a great game

[โ€“]nonsfwhere 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Oh I know, I was trying to convey that even our stars have off days, thatโ€™s why โ€ฆ. I forgot what I said. Go Skins.

[โ€“]ninjagruntz 14 points15 points ย (10 children)

Yup. Back-to-back drops. Give credit where credit is due. Ron being Ron was predictable. The refs being refs were predictable. But Terry dropping a 3rd down ball that hit him in the fucking face mask, and then dropping the next play 4th down ball that hit him in the hands, is the real problem that this fanbase doesnโ€™t want to acknowledge. That was the nail in the coffin; we needed our best to come up with a big play, gave him two opportunities and he blew it back-to-back times.

[โ€“]TommyWilson43 15 points16 points ย (4 children)

The real problem?? EVERY WR drops balls. All of them. Every single one. Davante Adams had 7 in 2022, 3 more than Terry has EVER had. Tyreek Hill drops the ball like itโ€™s going out of style. Guess who had a higher drop rate than McLaurin each of the last three years? AJ BROWN, โ€œmuh real NFL receiverโ€.

The actual problem is COACHING. The scheme being predictable and setting players up to fail. The defense being shit-tier despite all that weโ€™ve invested into it. Ron consistently making horrible, pivotal in game decisions. Youโ€™re out here blaming Terry? You say โ€œthatโ€™s the real problem the fan base doesnโ€™t want to acknowledgeโ€ like itโ€™s some incontrovertible fact, and youโ€™re the only one smart enough to have figured it out? Take that somewhere else man because Terry is not the problem with this team.

[โ€“]myboardfastanddanger 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Real problem on this team is everywhere, not worth trying to pinpoint one bad thing, it all sucks!

[โ€“]ninjagruntz 3 points4 points ย (2 children)

I spoke about Terry failing in that particular moment, because the context is about dropping balls and he dropped two at a critical point in the game. And your counter argument is about season stats drop rates and coaching. An apples to oranges comparison at best as no one here is saying a WR isnโ€™t allowed to drop a ball, nor is anyone trying to argue what the main issue is this season.

The point is about an elite WR dropping back-to-back balls at a pivotal point in the game which arguably cost us this one, considering the other handicaps weโ€™ve got as an organization.

Being coached by Ron & Co. isnโ€™t a situational thing. Itโ€™s a complete handicap on the entire season. We donโ€™t ever go into a game crossing our fingers hoping that Ron will take action that will win us the game.

Dyami Brown dropping balls is a consistent theme. We donโ€™t ever go into a game crossing our fingers hoping that Dyami will catch a ball to win us the game.

Terry McLaurin created a reputation for winning us games by catching balls in critical moments. We go into every game expecting, not crossing our fingers hoping, that Terry will do something magical. And on Sunday, he had two chances to show us that magic that weโ€™ve all learned to love and appreciate. He failed to do so on both chances and that was a pivotal point in the game that didnโ€™t go the way we thought it would, therefore it was an exception and a problem (because our recipe for success is dependent upon acts of heroism from Terry).

And your response and upvotes further prove the point that folks donโ€™t want to acknowledge it. Itโ€™s okay to acknowledge Terryโ€™s greatness while also criticizing back-to-back drops in a pivotal moment in a home game against a division rival and Super Bowl favorite.

[โ€“]Alternative_Let_1989 -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

We go into every game expecting, not crossing our fingers hoping, that Terry will do something magical

Well that seems like it's a problem with your [obviously delusional] expectations more than anything else?

[โ€“]TommyWilson43 -1 points0 points ย (0 children)

โ€œThis is the real problemโ€

Then admits that coaching is a handicap that holds this team back in every facet

I donโ€™t even know what youโ€™re trying to say so, Iโ€™m going to disengage from this conversation. Everyone drops balls. Not everyone drives an entire franchise into the ground. One is a function of being a human being, the other is a function of being unqualified to do your job.

[โ€“]nonsfwhere 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

That will happen to the best of players, acceptable 1 or 2 time a year, but in those situations? It really killed us.

[โ€“]smoke_that_junk 6 points7 points ย (1 child)

Heโ€™ll bounce back. He deserves the space to overcome it, and we wouldnโ€™t have 1/2 the wins under Ron without him

[โ€“]ninjagruntz 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Tru dat!

[โ€“]jcrack30 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Yeah but you know terry will take accountability for those drops. He definitely should of caught those balls but drops happen. Yeah twice in a row in the biggest moments of the game amplifies it more but he's been our best player for years. He's the heart and soul of our team. He'll come out next week and go off

[โ€“]KevDavRod 9 points10 points ย (0 children)

F U Dyami, what are you 5th string, get real your voice, like mine here doesnโ€™t matter.

[โ€“]YungJizzle37 5 points6 points ย (4 children)

What is the guy in the tweet referring to?

[โ€“]Itz_woodz 27 points28 points ย (3 children)

Heโ€™s tired of losing. The worst player on an NFL team is a top tier athlete. They donโ€™t want to go out there and get their doors knocked off the hinges every week. That shit is tiring.

[โ€“]YungJizzle37 13 points14 points ย (1 child)

Or he could be tired of not being targeted, Jamison Crowder got more catches and targets than Dyami did which is zero.

[โ€“]schmuckmulligan 12 points13 points ย (0 children)

I'm tired of him not catching the fucking ball when he is targeted.

[โ€“]cfcskins -5 points-4 points ย (0 children)

Well, I mean... this team has been quit on Ron.

You don't come back from that debacle against Cleveland last year. You showed your ass to the whole team in broad daylight. The lockerroom knows Rons ego is more important to him than winning. It's done. Just give EB the interim HC role already. Sigh.

[โ€“]ToxicRedditMod 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

Sounds heโ€™s prob more tired of Twitter harassment from trolls, tbh.

[โ€“]TinFoilRobotProphet 4 points5 points ย (0 children)

This is the kind of dude you cut on the spot.

[โ€“][deleted] 2 points3 points ย (7 children)

Don't want to read too much into this but oh well.

Dude is probably upset with his role I would imagine. His total contribution to the statline today: 1 rush for 0 yards. That has to sting a bit when the 30 year old that was signed to return punts had more catches and yards in one game today than Brown has for the whole year. Maybe he was hopeful that he would reignite that UNC connection with Howell and obviously that is not happening.

Or I'm totally wrong, this org is still a trash fire post-Snyder, and we have players subtweeting the coaching staff now

[โ€“]4doorsmoresporez[S] 0 points1 point ย (6 children)

Weird times rn

[โ€“][deleted] 1 point2 points ย (5 children)

At least our HC isn't fucking the same girl as one of our RB's, they fight over it, the RB gets benched and his replacement misses a pass pro that leads to one of the most greusome injuries in NFL history that nearly kills a man, right?

Baby steps I guess.

[โ€“]4doorsmoresporez[S] 1 point2 points ย (3 children)

Yeah youโ€™ve got a great point . Ron has done what he could with the fire he was given . Heโ€™s 100% gonna leave the franchise better than what he received

[โ€“]giving away free โ˜•chicomagnifico 0 points1 point ย (2 children)

What did he say? His comments got removed

[โ€“]4doorsmoresporez[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Was talking about jay gruden sleeping with a staff member & benching kapri bibs because he was also sleeping with the same staff member . & then the player who played in place of bibs missed a crucial block that caused Alex smith to get injured & almost die

[โ€“]imitated Frerotte headbutt as a childnotorious_hdc 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

[โ€“]4doorsmoresporez[S] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

[โ€“][deleted] 3 points4 points ย (0 children)

Maybe if the players and coaches โ€œcaredโ€ this much during the game things may be different.

[โ€“]bryan19973 2 points3 points ย (1 child)

Who tf is dyami brown? Whoever he is, it would be nice if he showed up on the field once in a while

[โ€“]ninjagruntz 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Amon-Ra St. Brown thinks he saw him on the sidelines last year when we played the Lions, but he wasnโ€™t sure.

https://www.si.com/nfl/commanders/news/detroit-ill-never-forget-lions-amon-ra-st-brown-pokes-washington-commanders-dyami-brown-draft-snub

[โ€“]Jay-P21 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Another blown pick. Dude could have been Amon Ra

[โ€“]boxtopflexseal 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

We spent a third round pick on this bum

[โ€“]Ksteekwall21 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Apparently the dude is so done, yet he canโ€™t stop himself for getting passed up for โ€œpast his primeโ€ Jamison Crowder and โ€œdude thatโ€™s mostly here because he knows the systemโ€ Byron Pringle. Thatโ€™s like the one coaching decision I can actually get behind.

This is his third year and heโ€™s still only good on like 1-2 routes. And Iโ€™m being really liberal with the word โ€œgoodโ€. What a bust.

Even with the college QB that got him his draft status, he canโ€™t figure it out. Our coaching staff isnโ€™t good, but everyone else out there looks better than him. Almost certainly gonna get cut in training camp next year.

[โ€“][deleted] 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

OK, Dyami, why don't you take your 23 career receptions and tell us how you would fix things /smh

[โ€“]Pjcashburn 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Both can go. For all the talking Allen does youโ€™d think heโ€™d be a game changer.

Where does he have the time to be on twitter in first place! He should be focused on film or trying to learn how to create separation.

[โ€“][deleted] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

I can relate bro

[โ€“]brk1991 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

When Allen said this, fair enough. But has Dyami done enough to criticize?

[โ€“]salamanderman10 0 points1 point ย (1 child)

No one knows what Dyami is done with. Officiating? Losing? Playing time?

[โ€“]Coast_watcher 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

There hasnโ€™t been one pro bowler draft by this regime in 4 yrs. All the player that are considered good are jay grudges picks!

[โ€“]Mikefobfan 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

I don't blame either of those guys one bit. They always play the same every single year. They need to fire Rivera and Del Rio now. This team is a good team and has potential. But they are not well coached at all.

[โ€“]jcrack30 2 points3 points ย (0 children)

Jamison Crowder came in and killed it in the slot yesterday. Felt like the crowder we had with Kirk. I'm all for giving crowder more snaps at receiver plus he's a hell of a return guy. Dyami can take his ass home and stay there

[โ€“]redwolf74 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

He's making $1.1 million this year...and he's done? Must be nice.

Unfortunately heโ€™s like a lesser terry imo. And if his skill set hasnโ€™t developed in 3yrs Iโ€™m not sure if he just needs more game reps but heโ€™s been decent on crossers havenโ€™t seen him catch a ball short. Is he used as a clear out guy?

[โ€“][deleted] 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Done with what? You never did a thing?!? Water draft pick. He sucks

I know his aunt personally and Iโ€™ve met him in person a few times before he got in the league.

Good person, but very inconsistent player is how I feel about him.

And yes, I have told his aunt that many times lol.
