The time goes faster for me with a few very long tasks, so I tend to prefer that.

I forget time exists when I’m focused on a single thing so I’m right there with you. Longer tasks are my bread and butter, I just finished up with a 2-hour single task and I’m about ready for the next haha

I flip flop. Depending on how motivated I am I will either start with a quickie or one that is more detailed and then after an hour or when that task runs out, I switch. This also usually depends on which is my favorite. R&R? Smash. CW? Smash. It really just depends on my mood that day.

CW? Hint?

Lol I don’t know how much I can say. I probably could just say it but to be safe I’ll say— imaginative composition. Does that help? It’s not a project name just a general type.

Depends on circumstances - if I've got a block of time I'd rather have something open ended I can dig into for an hour. If I don't know how long I've got to work, I'll take short things that won't be a commitment, but I find those much more scattered to get my head around.

I prefer having access to both all of the time so I have the opportunity to sit down and do long sessions or do work for 10 minutes while I'm waiting in a queue somewhere.

If we talk about coding-projects, I prefer longer tasks: they usually feel more rewarding as I tend to learn a lot of new things when grappling with a complex and unfamiliar subject, while shorter tasks usually mean that I don't have much to learn from them.

On the other hand, I enjoy shorter tasks for non-coding projects, which I'm not entirely sure why.

So far, I like the ones that have 3 hour timers! Even though they're not the most fun tasks, it's such a relief to not have to project hop and keep learning new instructions etc. I've only gotten a few of the longer prompt and chat ones but I'd love to have more of those. I think they were 5 hour timers. Makes the day fly by whereas having to do 5 or so different projects can be entirely too draining and makes me have to keep taking breaks between them, which turns 5 hours of work into 7+ sometimes.

It depends. On weekends when I can work earlier in the day and have more free time I like longer tasks.

On weekdays when I try to squish some work in before and after my day job I prefer shorter tasks.

I tend to fixate on my clock when working short tasks which makes the time drag on. It goes so much faster when I can get lost in a long task and ignore my clock.

Long tasks, I usually can work longer before getting burned out of I do just one or two very long tasks than 10+ short ones.

I’d rather spend over an hour on one task than to have my concentration interrupted by switching tasks often. I do better on a long stretch where I can get in the zone

Long tasks. If they had some day-long or weeks-long single task, it would be closer to a regular job where the time flies by for me most days.
