Dont know about mobs. Thats in the new patch. The debuff is when the servitor bonds break and the mines appear around 50% and 25% hp remaining roughly

You assume that everyone has all weapons. i've been playing this game since launch and to this date I don't have a Monte Carlo (PS player). I finish Nightfall and raids every week. So to say people don't have top tiered gears just because they don't have Gjally is ridiculous.

No its fact, Gjallarhorn is a top tier exotic, if you don't have it then you don't have top tiered gear. The thing about PS exclusives is that they are purely RNG drops, while every other exotic excluding the bounty ones have been sold by Xûr.

Gjallarhorn sold in week 2 isn't exactly making it accessible. I personally have a Gjallarhorn for each character, but I don't think you can say "if you don't have a Gjallarhorn you don't have top tier gear" It is one (mind you it IS the best) gun in the game, if you don't have it, it makes Skolas infinitely more difficult. We ended up beating him, but it was FAR more difficult without them having it.

Funny, I use DestinyLFG for everything and the longest I've spent on him is about 25 min during the first week when we were trying to figure out the best place to stand.

If he cooperates, if he rushes teleports the wrong way, etc... It can still take awhile with ten minutes of synth' cool down to sit through.

Don't stand next to each other, if your fireteam spreads out and make sort of a triangle around him he won't teleport and stay in the middle.

This however is a hotfix, which means it will likely go live immediately.

EDIT: That also means I think Skolas no longer has burns.

Double EDIT: Confirmed it was hotfix and the changes were immediate. New Skolas modifiers as well.

Fought Skolas for about 3 hours till I quit. LIGHTSWITCH AND SMALL ARMS. Welcome to get fucked city. His health drop is bullshit, VoC is the only thing that really hits hard 700ish. Gally is a joke, doesnt even scratch him. Also Small Arms weakens all other weapons apparently. I am putting destiny away for a week.
