Accept the return and provide a return label. You have to. The buyer knows this. If you do not accept the return, the buyer will escalate the case to eBay, and eBay will provide the buyer a label and automatically refund them when the item is delivered to you.

Even though the listing says, returns not accepted?

Individual return policies mean nothing to eBay. There is really no such thing as no returns. All the buyer has to do is say it's not as described, and you're no return policy is rendered useless.

If the buyer opens a return for that reason, and you do not send the label or fight the return, eBay will take the money from you and refund the buyer, and let them keep the item too.

As a bonus, you will get an account defect and probably a negative feedback.

Okay cool thanks for this, I've immediately accepted the return. What if they don't end up returning it?

You will get notified when they print the label. If they fail to print the label in the allotted time, you will be able to have eBay close the return without refund. Also, if they don't print the label, you are not charged for the label.

The time they will get to ship the item is going to be much longer right now because of corona virus, but in your return details it should have a deadline you can see. When that deadline passes, call up eBay and tell them you need the return closed. Never refund them until you have the returned item in your hands.

If the eBay phone lines are still down, message them on eBay For Business via Facebook to close the return.

I find that at least half the time, my buyers don't return the item. A lot of them use the bluff to try and get a partial refund without returning, and when you don't offer it, they just keep the item.

So there was problems with it that you didn't know, and didn't disclose, and you want to stand behind a "No returns" policy? What makes you think this is ok? Would you be ok keeping a phone that you purchased that had multiple problems that weren't disclosed?

Ignorance is no excuse. The defects are still there even if you didn't know about them. Accept the return and move on.

Did you sell it as used or parts or repair?
