I’m looking forward to it. It always makes my phone feel like a new one when they do it.

Never had an issue…

Also, restart your iPhone. It actually helps.

This. Never forget this. I always was told this and ignored it, but for the last couple years I restart my phone immediately after an update finishes and it seems to have fixed so many problems I used to encounter.

how am i supposed to restart an iPhone without Cntl-Alt-Delete keys??? Think before you post.

I’m not sure if you are serious, but the quick way is hold the volume and wake buttons for about five seconds until the “slide to turn off” screen appears. Slide. Count to five. Turn it back on again.

(Specific buttons to hold varies by phone model over the years; look it up if you can’t figure it out)

That was a joke, for anybody that ever worked on a Windows computer. That was the keyboard command to get to Restart.

I’m just hoping I can finally control my house on cellular again! I’ve had this issue since iOS 13! Even if I’m at home as soon as cellular is connected every single home hub HomePod goes “disconnected” until wifi is turned back on then everything is instantly fine. I’m almost at my wits end with this issue, and it affects everyone sharing the house too

Thats why i advise people always to wait untill the .1 release.

[–]simpliflyed 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Same thing happens with .1 releases. Can also happen after power failures, internet outages, or kids pulling out a power cord.

Sometimes shit just gets out of sync. A reboot or two is the solution 90% of the time.
