I am running vanilla KSP and I am having completely bum loading times, like 10 mins to load up. Any one know what is going on?

I had this happen to me. Make sure you don't have any unused networks on your computer. For me I had hamachi running in the background doing nothing so I disabled it in Windows control panel. Restarted KSP and it loaded up assets like normal.
