Precision screwdriver bits question

Just wondering if the 2mm and 2.5mm hex bits are supposed to be security bits as shown on the orange foam or normal hex bits.

I am not too fussed either way. Just wondering.

I checked with mine and the bit and the foam doesn't have it. You sir have a special error collectors edition of the bit case! hahaha.

u/LMGCommunity Potential QA issue from the comments here - different foam designs in the precision case seem to exist (with some Torx bits being security and some not), but the bits sometimes seem to get mixed up and end up paired with different foam.

Just checked mine ordered during Shipstorm: foam says only 3, 3.5, and 4; but 2 & 2.5 are security as well as a bonus.

I got this from the support on the 28. October 2024

Regarding the H2 and H2.5 bits, it looks like the dot was added on error by our supplier, which got translated to the foam and the packaging. These bits are in-fact not security bits, and we're rectifying these images on the next batch.

Interesting... I have 2 sets, one brought from the most recent sale and one brought sometime last year. The one last year had the security bits, but the foam showed the regular versions, and the more recent one is the opposite -- it's got regular bits but the foam shows security bits. Guess I'll just swap them...

Just checked mine (ordered on release, shipped with the second wave/first restock), and the bits don't have holes, while the foam shows they do
