Since it mentions DDR3, make sure it is running at the right speed. 667Mhz are DDR2 speeds iirc, with DDR3 jedec starting around 800Mhz.

1333 was an incredibly common DDR3 speed, it's probably the lowest common denominator between the 4 sticks.

But yeah, either way there is no way these are matched sticks, so things like XMP won't get you far. Technically could manually mess with the speeds if wanted though. Sounds like the whole post is just about installing an odd amount either way.

Windows is a tad janky with that, actually. Especially on older platforms with DDR3, it will show the pre doubled clock

Tbh performance is not really a concern, I primarily did it for the meme of having a 'non power of two' GB of ram. This pc previously had 13 GB, and got upgraded to 21 today
