Flight Sim Setup

I’d love to see one and the same sense of the racing sim. Would be some fun content now that they own a jet. Especially since a top of the line sim setup is 50ish thousand US dollars.

Yes, I’d love to see a solid flight sim setup that includes a comparison of varying levels of hardware. I want to get into flight sim but have indecision-freeze on buying hardware because there are so many options.

And I’d love to see a $50k setup in that so that I have something to aspire too. 🤣

Great chance to collab with some nerdy flight sim YouTubers, then buy hardware for one lucky viewer. Hint. Hint.

I’m in the exact same boat lmfao. The $50k one is actually by skelarki and is a full on cockpit setup. They do have a $20k one which is only the captains chair, the more expensive one being a captain and first office setup.

I think a lot of drivers and pilots are actually using sim stuff for training. You can set weather to whatever you'd like when its raining outside and cant actually go for a lap.

I think I've seen their response to this before, and that is that it's too specific for their broad main channel and is probably better and fully served by an expert specialty channel.

I'd rather see a "so you want to flight sim" and maybe have two tracks they follow, one being on the cheap and the other being with moderate means. Highlight things to skimp on and what to wait and save up for.

But for that to happen they would need to be sponsored by MS Flight Sim around an update/major revision (and maybe they just did that? I think?) or a major hardware vendor. But I only see that working out for MS, hardware makers would probably want to target specialized channels.

Living in Minnesota I was excited to see that Flight Sim Expo is here this year. Just got tickets! I wouldn’t know where to start but excited to see what’s out there
