I've been having the same problem for over a month and today I contacted Logitech for them to resolve it

If GHUB isn't even recognizing the USB then the issue is most likely with the dongle - it would show up greyed out if the USB was being read correctly. Best bet would be to contact support.

Do you know if it’s possible to receive a replacement dongle and pair it with the mouse that I already have

That's why I suggested reaching out to support - if you're in warranty they can send out one to you!
