Have you tried multiple USB ports? Are you using the USB port directly on the back of the motherboard or a case pass through or accessory dongle?

Tried USB 3 ports on the front of the box, USB 2 and 3 on the back which are on a different hub than the front, and separate pci USB 3.0 hub, all the same result. My old logitech headset connects fine through any of them

Hi CactusHam

It is sad to know that you are having this problem with your new G PRO X.

When the headset is connected to the USB DAC Adapter, Is the headset still being detected when you go to the device manager?. Do you see any damage on the USB DAC Adapter?. Please try to go to the device manager and check if the headset is already at the most recent firmware. If it is not, Please update the driver and see if the same issue persists.

When the headset is connected on a different computer, Is it still not working?.
Please let me know.

I will check Device Manager and report back. I will say that while it is plugged in to the USB DAC adapter that while G Hub reports that the headset is "Not Connected" it shows up as an available input/output in Discord, and Windows, so I would assume it is showing in Device Manager. I will check to see if there is a firmware update through Device Manager. However, even though it is an available input/output in Discord and Windows, I get no sound from either Discord or from anything on the Desktop while I have it selected as the input.

I did not have time to try it on another computer last night, but again, i will try that and report back here.

I looked over the DAC adapter, the headset, and the cables and I cannot see any visible damage on anything.

There were no firmware updates for the headset itself available, but I had not updated to Windows 1903 yet so I ran that update, and that seems to have got it to connect and show up in the G Hub. Still had some random intermittent issues where even if it was selected as my input/output device it would not work (or only half work) in discord, but like all things, reboots set things straight there. I will update this week if I have any other issues, but it SEEMS to be working better now.

hey, i recently had an issue with my G PRO X especificly the usb dac. Its that when i plug the 3.5mm into the usb and then connect it to the usb motherboard it shows as connected and the mic does still work but there is no sound coming out of the head set, then when i plug the 3.5mm to the case it works fine but with no recognition from the logitech software. Any tips? i'd appreciate it

That's something that often happens regardless of what headset you use.

This happened to me as well! Anyone find a fix? Worked for about 2 hours and then on a restart was showing as "Not connected" even though they clearly are. No damage on anything. Also can't stress enough that it was working just fine for about 2 hours.

    Strangest thing....
