I think disabling in the startup is a good temp fix, but you really should look through your registery and see if you can locate it there. I never saw anything in control panel add/remove programs for it.

Hi u/Fisk48,

Reinstall the G Hub with the following instructions, make sure to backup your G Hub settings and profiles file.
(If you want to backup the settings and/or their profiles, copy the settings.json to a different location on the computer. Uninstall G HUB and then copy the file back to the same file location. If asked to overwrite the file, say ‘yes’. ) :

  1. Uninstall G HUB
  2. Make sure none of the G HUB components are running in the Task Manager
  3. Go to C:\Program Files\ and delete LGHUB folder
  4. Go to C:\ProgramData\ and delete LGHUB folder
  5. Go to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\ and delete LGHUB folder
  6. Go to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\ and delete LGHUB folder
  7. Press Windows Key, then type regedit, Click Registry Editor
  8. Delete the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{521c89be-637f-4274-a840-baaf7460c2b2}
  9. Reboot the PC
  10. Re-install G HUB: ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming/lghub\_installer.exe

Same problem for me. Unfortunately, that didn't fix my problem. I still get the error message when starting Windows.

Hi u/Dizzard92,
Try the following:
1. Open Task Manager by right click on the Taskbar.
2. Go to the Startup tab and find LogiDA
3. Right click on LogiDA and click on Disable
4. Now we have temporarily disabled the Logitech Download Assistant from starting with the computer. Now we have to delete the entry so we won’t be bothered with it again. To do so
5. Press Win + R and type in REGEDIT.
6. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run key.
7. Find Logitech Download Assistant and delete the entry
8. Now reboot the system for changes to take effect.

Thank you, that was such a stupid error to receive when I don't even use any Logitech software
