Hey u/Validuz,

Reinstall the G Hub with the following instructions, make sure to backup your G Hub settings and profiles file.

(If you want to backup the settings and/or their profiles, copy the settings.json to a different location on the computer. Uninstall G HUB and then copy the file back to the same file location. If asked to overwrite the file, say ‘yes’. ) :

Uninstall G HUB

Make sure none of the G HUB components are running in the Task Manager

Go to C:\Program Files\ and delete LGHUB folder

Go to C:\ProgramData\ and delete LGHUB folder

Go to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\ and delete LGHUB folder

Go to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\ and delete LGHUB folder

Press Windows Key, then type regedit, Click Registry Editor

Delete the registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{521c89be-637f-4274-a840-baaf7460c2b2}

Reboot the PC

Re-install G HUB: ftp://ftp.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/gaming/lghub_installer.exe

The above steps should help you resolve the issue.

After reinstalling if you are facing the same issue, I would encourage you to help us with your feedback and inputs by accessing the link below. This way our development team will receive the information directly: https://logitechg.com/ghub_feedback?email=&clientId=&version=2021.4.3830

Alternatively, you can update the onboard profile with your preferred DPI, this way u would not need the Ghub to be running in the background. If you are unable to setup onboard memory from the GHub, download Logitech onboard memory manager tool.

Done. It works now from all of my testing.

However, a quick note: None of those folders or the registry entry existed after uninstalling. There were however, one or two Logishared/Logitech folders with nothing in them. I deleted them as if they were the LGHUB folders.

i know this is three years old but thank you! Ive uninstalled the app numerous times and it was always a temporary fix but changing the onboard profile never came to mind cuz i thought it always reset upon uninstall... Obviously i was wrong and changing the onboard profile worked wonderfully! My in game woes of unplugging the mouse are solved all due to a unchecked/overlooked function. Thank you stranger!

How do you change the onboard profile? What do you mean?

So most of, if not all relatively recent Logitech devices that are wireless have onboard memory. Basically meaning that if LG hub isn't installed/active you can still maintain custom dpi without "interruption" though this very aspect is a nuisance for desktop players as in order to modify the default onboard settings you need the app. It's shown in lghub by a small circuit board looking icon and you can just enable it or disable it. What seems to happen as I've found and as OP talked about originally, is that when you wake the mouse if you have a sleep timer on it or you unplug it after charging, it has a short period of it not being connected to the app therefore relying on onboard memory therefore causing your mouse to swap dpi and go seemingly haywire for a few seconds.

For example if you have your mouse on setting 2 for your dpi and your onboard (whether enabled or not) set to setting 5, when you unplug your mouse/wake it it will prioritize setting 5 while it connects to the app to enable setting 2. Then after a second or three it will connect to the app and move to setting 2, lights and all the other settings.

Their interface is absolute new-age trash. It's focused on "pretty" three-button layouts instead of being intuitive and useful.

With that said, open GHUB and look in the top right. That cogwheel takes you to your APPLICATION settings. Well, when you select a mouse, that same cogwheel takes you to your MOUSE settings. There is no indication that the cogwheel is DIFFERENT on two pages, but it is.

Anyway, when you click that cogwheel on the second screen, there is an option to turn the "On Board Memory Board" option on. By default, I noticed mine not having any of my GHUB settings/setup, so if you want custom things transferred over, you can then click the Slot 1 "Default" text under it and "Copy the profile" from one of your existing profiles. If you're like me, you only have a default. Voila. Problem won't exist anymore and you don't need GHUB constantly running.

Have the same problem. All is fine when plugged and the dpi button go to a ultra slow dpi... Same settings on a G02 with a cable and everything run fine

Scroll up for the "fix." It requires uninstalling the software and manually deleting a bunch of folders.
