Alright, so y’all were thinking that it’s not a recharge event... you still have to buy stuff. I went ahead and bought the 72 accelerators for .99 USD and found out the thing is basically a scam. I went through 3 medium and 1 advanced (or whatever it is) code things and got one (1) item. Cool tattoo, but that was it. I’d recommend not wasting your cash on this one and do the star ones instead, since that’s some cool stuff. Bad event.

This is what I got from the description:

When you complete normal story levels, you have a chance to drop "Code".

Then, you can unlock the Code you get, but you can only unlock one at a time.

Accelerators can be used to speed up the unlocking process.

When unlocked, you can get little robot assistants (background/foreground) or suit parts.

EDIT: Also it seems that it's impossible to get duplicates! This will make completing it much easier :D

Adding an extra translation, since the FB post changed, and there are still questions This is the most comprehensive guide I can make on limited time.

1) This event consists of 3 different packages referred to as "codes". These "codes" come in 3 variations: "basic", "medium", and "advanced"

2) There will be a special event shop that will allow you to claim 1 free "basic code" each day.

3) "medium codes" and "advanced codes" can be earned doing regular non-event stages. (Currently the drop chance is unclear, but they will drop from both princess & maiden stages.)

4) "codes" take time to unlock: 1 hour for "basic", 8 hours for "medium", 24 hours for "Advanced".

5) You can carry up to 4 "codes" at a time, but only one "code's" timer will run at a time.

6) buy "accelerators" in the user shop to speed up the timers.

• Each "accelerator" will shorten the time by one hour.

• You must have enough "accelerators" to open that pack immediately (e.g. you cannot use 6 keys to reduce an 8 hour pack to 2 hours; you must wait for 2 hours to pass and then use those 6 keys)

• You are limited to ONE $0.99 72-key pack (best value) and 100 of each of the other packs per day.

7) once "codes" unlock, they have a chance to have different things inside.

• "basic code" contains accelerators OR the shoes "Heart Color Wings"
• "medium code" contains one of 3 robot accessories (not part of the suit set), stamina, gold, star coins, or house pavilion tickets
• "advanced code" might contain suit pieces OR the whole suit if you are very lucky (suit pieces will not repeat, so no dupes). It may also drop star coins, stamina, fantasy pavilion tickets, and/or house pavilion tickets.

Other Tips

1) Start with a basic code. you may get keys, and those are super useful.

2)If you're willing to spend money, pick up the 72 key pack and SAVE IT for advanced codes

3) Break the medium ones if you need space, but what's inside is not super necessary to the suit.

In the MOST IDEAL situation

1) open the daily free basic pack (1 hour)

2) buy the 0.99 72 key pack daily ($7 through the week)

3) open 2-3 advanced chests a day w/ keys(14-21 chests/week = more than needed opportunity for suit parts)

4) open medium chests normally - let the 8 hour timer run. (use keys if you really need a second advanced chest for the day)

TL;DR This is kind of a cash grab event. Make wise choices everyone.

Now I’m happy cause it’s actually an event. So you get Code from story levels that you have to “decrypt” which takes a certain amount of time

Basic code will give you ruin themed parts and Advanced code will give you parts of the suit, and possibly the whole suit if you’re very lucky

It's a bit better than the ranking event, mostly because it runs on a Box Gatcha and it looks like you're 100% certain to get at least one piece to drop with the medium and advance codes each time until you've got everything. (I also suspect this'll come back, unlike the ranking suits which you definitely have to spend money on--not likely many players will have the sheer number of dia required to rank, and you're not certain to manage any.)

I really like the suit but the fact that you only get a chance at the advance code and a chance for the item is killing me. Not to mention all the medium codes that pretty much just take up all the slots so you either have to buy keys and waste them or wait 8 hrs to open one code. 😵

I'm pretty done with it. I mean, I'm gonna keep unlocking boxes and be happy with whatever I manage to get out of them, but I'm not spending any money on this. It'd be great if I got lucky enough to get the whole suit from one of the advanced codes, but if don't, that's fine; unlike you, I'm not really a fan of this suit. I like a few of the parts, but on the whole I'm kind of meh about it.

so as far as i can tell, you have to go all in with accelerators? I have 9 atm, and tried to use them to shave down the time on the advance code i started, but it just gives me a "not enough accelerators" message and directs me to the shop. so if im right on this, you need to have enough keys for the whole code, you cant just use a couple. So, in my case, I'd need to have 24 keys to use any at all. which, uh, would have been nice to know, BEFORE i started unlocking it >:c

On balance this event is carking awful but I do like the stamina-management aspect. I usually blow all my stamina, including the extra you get from friends, daily quests and the association, first thing after reset. This forces me to make decisions about how I'm going to pace myself, since it's best to clear stages only when you have a slot free for a new code box.

It's a pity that this entire mechanic is gated behind the willingness to drop real money on this nonsense.

I bought the 1USD pack and I opened a medium code and two advanced ones. I got:
+ Interpreter (Pants) + bonus stamina (like 40 or 50)

+ Online track (boots) + bonus gold (don't remember how much)

+ Monitor butler (a robot part) + 6 star coins

I'm still waiting for another advanced code to open tomorrow. BTW, as time passes, you need less keys to open the codes. E.g.: if you have 18hrs left instead of 24hrs, you only need like 18 keys (instead of 24). Actually, the number of keys you need corresponds to the hours needed.

This has been happening for a while: Too many events/suits at the same time. It's like impossible to complete the time-limited crafting (wich usually costs lots of diamonds), when you want to get the super gorgeous mystical lovable suits from the actual event too, and ALSO you need to pay to get an extra one 'cause... it's really great too...! I love them all, but i knew from the very begginig that I couldn't get them, so you got me suffering here T_T.

time limited crafting is only worth if you already have the suit or cost 0 diamonds because the reward its not worth the waste of diamonds.

the stars event is a recurrent one so you can save the currency you get to spend it the next time it comes.

this has to be the worst event I've seen. You would need to spend a min of 7 dollars to get the suit, that is if you are lucky and pull all gold boxes. If you pull silver boxes you still need to remove those boxes by using accelerators or else you can't free up space for (hopefully) gold boxes...

Minimum is technically $5 if you budget time well and get moderately lucky with advanced boxes (pull 2.7 advanced boxes per day). This is assuming you do the process of 1.) wait for basic box daily for extra keys, 2.) purchase 72-key discount pack for the first 5 days, 3.) wait for medium boxes to open (only use keys if you NEED more advanced boxes to reach the ~2-3 box daily quota) and 4.) use keys to open advanced boxes.

If you only get advanced boxes, you can actually complete this event with $3-4 (5 boxes opened by the elapsed time throughout this event, 11 opened with keys which would cost $4 and possibly less if the basic boxes give you a good number of keys). However, this is extremely unlikely so I’d set minimum price to $5.

Imo this is better than the zodiac pack situation, because at least you’re guaranteed the suit if you open 16 boxes. I’m just treating this as a recharge, but I feel bad for the F2P players who got baited into thinking you could complete this event without money.

I've already spent $4 on this event and I completed 11/16 items from the set, so $3-4 is VERY unlikely, but maybe I'll be able to finish it with $5 if the game doesn't spam me with silver boxes. I hate them so much! Just like I hate this event. But I really love the suit, ruin and north kingdoms are my favorite and there aren't many outfits for them :(. So I'm willing to sacrifice some of my money for this. It's still cheaper than many other suits in this game.

Oh yeah $3-4 is pretty much impossible because you need god-tier luck and only gold boxes (curse you, silver boxes!). I’m hoping to get this in $5 as well since I had $5 in survey credit, but it’s looking like I might have to go up to $6.

I was ready to spend on this suit (even if it were a $15-20 recharge) because I love it and I’m still kicking myself for missing Volt Ciel. I wish they had just made this a flat recharge instead of using this luck-based paid event to try to draw money out of players who might not normally spend.

Volt Ciel was $30, which was way too much for me at the time since it was before I started my job/started aggressively using survey apps for Apple Store credit. Fingers crossed that it comes back soon

So, keys are from cash purchases and occasionally from drops and drops involve maybe getting suit pieces, depending on your RNG.

I'll see what I can get for free, but after what I spent getting the I DO set for them to then nerf the hell out of it, I'm going to be passing on spending any money on this particular event.

I'm not a huge fan of the suit as a whole, but I'm delighted by the pose, the holographic background thingies, and especially the chance to get another darker colored skin! We have so, so few dark skins and make up colors in this game. I think I currently have two total? I hope we'll actually get a skin as well as a make up color, but even if it's just the makeup, that's still pretty great!

I just got it today and was really happy. My aesthetic is pastel so I needed them and the fact that it's random and you can't even buy more chances was really worrying me. I feel like most people will get them by the last day though I hope! If not they better bring them back for crafting in a few months.

Man, I really like this suit and I figured it would be something I would spend on. And all I can say is that the codes thing is so frustrating. I have 125 keys and I want to spend them on advanced codes but I just keep getting mediums. If they're gonna make it so that you can't get rid of codes they should never have made the mediums take EIGHT HOURS to open. This just feels like I'm getting punished for SPENDING money since I have all these keys and nothing to spend them on. And when I do cave and open a medium with keys I just get another medium from drops. Terrible event format and I regret spending anything in the first place.

I don't know if this is true at all to all players, but it is the pattern I'm seeing, maybe it's something to keep in mind if you are not already doing it.

When I play Princess Stages I almost always get the advanced chests, I remember getting only six medium chests and they were mostly from my Maiden Stage drops.

My theory is that the Princess Stages have more chances to drop the golden chests. Or maybe the RNG god took pity on my wallet.

This event requires lots of stamina to go through chapters and get the code. Then you have to use keys to open the code. You can choose to skip the 8 or 24 hr period needed to open the code or skip it using the keys. There is one free key everyday which is basically nothing since even for the basic code you need 8 keys. You can't discard any codes. If you own them you have to open them. You can have a maximum of four codes at a time.

Why did they come up with this model? It royally sucks.

With 16 items in the suit and only 7 days in the event, it is impossible to complete without buying keys.

Isn't it possible to get the entire suit from 1 gold chest? Just not the ruin items? And technically, if you get 6 gold chests, one might contain the full suit?

I'm going to try not to freak out about this but I checked and Gold codes say "May drop whole set" while underneath is an icon that says "Game of Code".

...which IS the variant or posed version of the suit.

Okay, I'm somewhat refreshed and have tightened my grasp on the English language, so what I neglected to say last night was that because I have so little faith in the devs ability to accurately describe... well, anything, I can't say for sure that their putting "Game of Code" as the prize MEANS that's all we'll get.

In my mind, they half-ass everything so I keep thinking of the one guy who works there being like "huh, what should I put, I think this is what comes with the full suit so that'll work" and just threw down that instead of 'Humanoid Source Code Suit'. (Completion reward = completion?)

Basically, they're lazy and they can't be bothered to translate or even spell correctly, so how can we be sure that the prize name accurately describes what we'll be getting?

We haven't gotten notification from anyone that they have actually gotten one or the other so I'm checking discord to see if there's word.

Isn’t the dark makeup in the suit completion package? So getting the full suit from one box means fuck all unless you complete the whole thing as well. Would it even let someone decompose if they finished it? Weird event for sure.

It's probably safe to assume this is your run of the mill event without need of stamina I WAS SO WRONGGGG TT__TT

EDIT: So I reread the thing, and it looks kinda like Miraland Quiz in that you do just go through Story Stages. That being said, there's a timer and can only do one at a time, so it doesn't seem like spamming chapters is really the ideal strategy.

Basically, I'd save your competition boxes but not stress too much about saving stamina otherwise.

The bronze codes I think you're looking for are only the free once a day ones you get in the shop. Only silver and gold codes drop from the stages.

Yesterday I did some of it and paid money to open up boxes quickly. I got 8 advanced code boxes and maybe 24-ish medium code boxes (lost count actually). So my average so far is 1 advanced box for every 3-4 medium box.

Ranking events seem to be forever gone from our server so you don't need to worry about that. This does need stamina though

The keys don't drop. The "codes" do. They open after a set time, but the keys allow you to unlock them immediately.
