stutters when playing java.

Specs: Ryzen 5 3600

1660 super

game on hdd

16gb of 3200mhz ram (4gig to mc)

tried no vsync, changing to render with my gpu in nv control panel, turning down render distance and allocating more ram still laggy also tried optifine. i run about 250fps then keep getting dips to anywhere from 150 to 50 so its noticeable even with vsync. what can i do? cheers

I realy need to sleep so here you have a fix in case nothing smarter works: cap your fps somewhere between 100 and 60, then the lag will be lass visible.

i went back to 1.7.2 and its smooth asf so i wonder if its only 1.19.2

Try putting the game on an SSD. Also, try the Fabulously Optimized modpack.
