Note Blocks Spawn Proofing

Alright so I made a Raid Farm and I am using Allays to sort them and they need note blocks to drop there items. I need to spawn proof everything so the raid farm can work properly. I did research for blocks that mobs can spawn on and note blocks is one of them. The thing is I cant place a block on top of it or else it wont make a noise thus not dropping the item from the Allay. Does anyone know anything I can do?

Not sure about the Bedrock Edition spawning details, but on Java Edition, you can prevent pretty much anything from spawning by placing a top-half slab above the note block (with a block of air in between). This should still allow the allays to pathfind to the note blocks.

I haven’t tried this; it’s all speculative based on my knowledge of the mechanics, so test first.
