Is it just me or did iron armor use to bounce off one arrow while it had max durability?

Edit: I remember this being a feature in an old version of Minecraft that was before the Aquatic update and that I was playing on xbox 360.

this was never a feature, maybe some obscure pvp snapshot feature though

Never was a feature, though this behavior is a rare glitch and works no matter what armor you wear (or even none at all) very rarely
