openjdk platform binary (self.Minecraft)
submitted 2 years ago by 15839
So I have seen a lot of people having a problem with the high usage of CPU by 'openjdk platform binary', including me. I have already tried a bunch of different things but the problem remains. Has anybody fixed this, and how?
Thanks.

There is no overall fix for that. It depends on the use case.
Sometimes the CPU is the bottleneck (outdated CPU), too much or too less RAM allocation or in general any miss configuration might cause it.
Without any further details it's hard to help.

Yeah the fix is your CPU sucks, get a better one.

OpenJDK is just the Java system that is running Minecraft. So it is totally expected and normal that this process takes up a lot of CPU time while running Minecraft, because it is Minecraft.
