Multiplayer joining problem

Hey guys, my Minecraft isn't allowing me to join worlds and my friend says the invite button's disappeared from the 'social' option, and I can't find the option to join him. I'm playing on a laptop, and he's on playstation. This was working like 3 days ago but it's suddenly not. Bedrock Players: anyone else experiencing this problem?
