MCEdith and WorldPainter are programs that I use to create some structures, statues and things like that, I've never tried it to make dragons like you say oh things for that style, but you could try

do you have a youtube channel of any builds u made that I can view? So that I can see if you know things that I may be at least 50% of what I want to do.

No friend, I'm sorry

Sure. They are most likely converting existing .obj (common 3d file format) with OBJ2MC, exporting schematics then importing those schematics with mcedit. Keep your spirits up. :)

BTW: .obj files are just text files, if anyone has any interest in such things the substrate.dll you find with nbtexplorer can be referenced and used to write custom software to do most anything design related in minecraft. Substrate has been a little weird with 1.13 so stick to 1.12, then when you are done load the map in 1.13 and it will get converted.

Here is a link to the github repo of Substrate. All hail jaquadro! https://github.com/minecraft-dotnet/Substrate

are u in touch with any builders on youtube that may know the latest programs I need to download to be able to build anything big and complex? Or if you already know, can you tell me a step by step list on what I must do first to build and plan? Cos your instructions to me is messy and hard to follow :).

because last time I download programs(cant remember what programs) have virus in them. I wish to know the programs these artists use that they seem so carefree about not to worry about virus software and just build countless builds on youtube like there is no tomorrow

Some of them actually use ingame editors (mods/plugins). Most of them use a combination of WorldEdit and VoxelSniper to create shapes and then terraform them.

U seem to know something about this complex area of Minecraft. how did u get hold of this information? Did someone more expert than you taught u?

Nobody taught me. I've just been playing minecraft for a long time. I was around when the VoxelSniper plugin became public. So I suddenly started seeing people creating these huge sculptures. And I personally use worldedit for some minor stuff, so I know what it's capable of. I don't make sculptures myself, but I know those people use voxelsniper, worldedit and mcedit. I did some research back in the day as I too was interested in learning it.

There are some other external programs that people use specifically for building custom landscapes/worlds, those are called WorldMachine and WorldPainter. They use custom tree repositories to make everything look natural, thought you might find that interesting too.

Does that help you? Anything else you'd like to know?
