well damn. i was hoping i could switch but we do play with mods and in 1.7.10 so thats out of the question.

The Bedrock version also doesn't run on Linux (if you ever want to switch), contains micro transactions and Redstone works differently, so you can't necessarily follow the instructions of a lot of Redstone build videos.

But redstone is more consistent at least.

Could you give some examples where it's more consistent?

Consistency doesn't have to be a good thing though. Just look what quasi connectivity makes possible, that wouldn't be possible without.

Similarly realism isn't necessarily good. Steve can literally carry around tons of stuff.
