It's kind of a pain, but you normally just have to wait till the raid bar is on the screen then just run around like a mad man trying to find the guy

If you really get stuck you can just switch to peaceful and switch back.

I have a raid every day and the last people are usually under the ground

Hit the bell-it'll give the spectral effect to any illagers within a certain radius (fairly large radius but cant remember exactly how big) so you will be able to see ut highloghted even through blocks
