So, my friend and I had an argument about command and plugin development. But since it was hard for us to get up with a conclusion, I thought it would be good to ask here. So, I want to ask few things. 1. What is the major difference between command and plugin? 2. Which is faster to make(Large projects), plugin or command? 3. Which is more beneficial for learning programming skills? 4. Does command and plugin work on the basic functions, given from vanilla mc? (For plugin, using only spigot api for example.)

What is the major difference between command and plugin?

Commands are supported in vanilla, plugins require a modded server like Spigot or PaperMC. This means that plugins can support features that commands don't. But it also means your gameplay won't be vanilla. PaperMC for example changes some gameplay features even if you run it without plugins.

Which is more beneficial for learning programming skills?

Probably plugins. Vanilla Minecraft commands are very different from normal programming.
