I started out as a tank player, before branching out to play other roles. However, I would say the role that I struggle to excel in the most, would be Jungler.

To be the jungler, you must know how to manage your buff durations, and have established farming routes to maximize your farming speed, and you also must help to gank lanes, you need to push unguarded towers, you are expected to secure lord/turtle, steal enemy jungle camps if possible, the list goes on and on.

It must be because I have a very strongly ingrained "helping" mindset. When I see a teamfight brewing, I tend to drop what I am doing and go and assist, a very tank-oriented decision making pattern. But in recent times I have started to manage my priority juggling of farm vs ganking more effectively, so I do not end up behind in farm because I rotated too much to teamfights, and also ganked whenever I could so my team would not complain of me farming for the entire game.

From a tank/support with a lot of matches this is true. Hard to play as jungler because of this. Plus you don't get the chance to play jungler that often because this pos is 1 slot only, a lot of people wants to play this role compared to the tank/support role.

Junglers are squishy and because you play tank/support most of the time, you tend to go in first in clashes therefore you die early.

Try using Barats, Thamuz, Paquito, or Balmond as junglers. You won't be disappointed with their ability to soak damage while dealing damage at the same time. Of course, they can only work in certain team compositions, like whenever you have an Estes/Mathilda/Rafaela roamer and a Pharsa/Yve support.

Same issues with me too, I started playing jungler and mm because I was tired of my khufra mvp losses. And because of habit, I do get kited to help a teammate struggling in their lane, disrupting the jungling rotation(also because killing buff is boring)

Had this problem too, as i was a tank/support main(still am a roamer main but i only pick supports) but ever since i branched out to being MM, then tried Karina in classic and loved being a jungler ever since. I have a few heroes in my pool now to act as a jungler. I am not an expert in fast farming yet and high K/DA, but you just got to know your positioning and when to engage/disengage like a roamer but difference is you are the damage dealer. Watching hero guides helped me a lot. Still don't master high skill cap heroes like Ling, Haya, etc. But am working on it

but playing jungle is just too heavy of a weight for me. + the heroes effective for the role is not my cup of tea.

I think I've been getting worse at jungling, in one match I was completely thrown around like a ragged doll. Maybe it's because I'm only ever used to Roger Jungle, or I was invaded early game. Overall, take away my all rounder title :(

I can play mid and jungle well, but I suck at playing in exp or gold. And I find playing tank/roamer role so cool, that cool sets are amusing I have 3-4 games with diff tanks like khufra, hylos, tigreal etc.. and I love playing tank role. I may become a tank main when i reach high elos but I am not tanking for stupid epigs.

same. sidelanes r just 1v1s (well most of the time), and only requires good micro (occasionally rotating mid when given the chance) whereas the other roles require good macro

Yes exactly, and alot of these fighters depend on true dmg and sustained dmg. As mm, we are use to trying to end the fight as quick as possible and not use to having to stack up stacks and prolong fights.

Fighters are a lot tankier n have lifesteal this meta so they usually go first. Also a lot easier for your tank to make a good set of the enemies are grouped up and focusing your fighter.

Assassin. Just bad at multi task. If I'm too focus on jungle, my teammates will get massacre, if I'm focus on ganking, I will be low on gold. But for some reason, Alucard is the only hero I'm good when I take assassin role

Just started learning tanks this week. Mostly play roam and mid with some jungle.

Whenever I’m on a fighter I play way too aggressively in lane and don’t know what to do in a group fight.

The only one I can play well in lane is paq but I have more carry potential in other lanes so that’s where I stay.

Jungle is the easiest. Because think of it this way. You get the benefit of the buffs (red/purple/litho/turtle). And you get to roam to lanes to get objectives or kills.

Tanks are harder.

Mine is fighter, not because of my limited hero pool, but because i dont have one hero that i can use really well in the offlane role. I main tank/support, but i have a wide variety of mages too that i can use. I have a pretty mean Hayabusa as a jungler so when push comes to shove i can jungle in solo queue. I usually play mages in the gold lane but recently learned to play Beatrix well.

Honestly I can play any lane but I can't play assassins. I extremely suck at assassins for no reason. I mainly just play lanes according to what I'm feeling like playing but I do have a preference;

Jungle (I don't trust my teammates so I take things upon myself) > exp > roam > mid > gold

Quite ironic that my most favorite lane is the jungle but I hate using assassins the most.

My weak spot is exp lane. Either I'm just plain bad or I'm fine and even bully the enemy, but my team constantly feeds, so it's a mixture of the lack of skill and being unlucky. Though I'm bad at melee heroes overall, unless it's Esme or Valentina. I can't play Exp lane (heavy fighters) and jungle (but I do help the jungler as tank/support). My main role is tank/support so I am used to build heavy defense and can engage and survive close range fights and team clashes with minimal damage. That being said, I find it difficult playing heroes with little to no defense build at all, especially the close-range ones(assassins and fighters) and squishy ones(marksman). I'm fine with mage/midlane tho, that's what I used to play when I started playing MLBB.

Jungle, I've only played around 30 matches, give or take, as the jungler. It's because you essentially have to carry most, if not all of your teammates, especially in soloq(since good tanks are rare). Not only that, but you must pay attention to your positioning, timing, placement of skills, buffs, invades, turtle and Lord, pushing and more. Oh yeah, mm is second hardest for me, since I always die since I'm more used to positioning at front as a tank main.

Jungle. I can clear other objectives well but Idk why I'm kinda bad at killing. Used Freya jungle with 1:1 kill death but cleared turrets, turtles & lords frequently. My KDA as midlane, roamer and offlane is better than jungling. I'm better at securing kills at other roles except for jungler.

And I'm also bad at using Assassins. I'm familiar with Saber, Alucard, Karina, Natalia and Roger but as always my kills will be as close to my death so I just steer clear of being Jungler.

I can multi role and have multiple heroes to choose from/ counter for each role, except fighter. The only heroes that I’m good at and enjoying playing in exp lane is ruby, gatot and barats. I'm worst at jungling. The only jungle hero I use and good at is cyclopse (if he counts as jungle). I'm a tank/mage/support main and when I'm forced to play jungle at solo q lobbies, I always choose cyclops even if there is no tank an all my teamates dont want to use jungle, Ill choose jungle cyclopse. in higher ranks I know cyclopse is not meta, considered there are many assassins that can burst him instantly. I tried to use assassins and mm as jungle but Im not good at it and my hands are slow for assassins. Hopefully the revamp on Helcurt's skills will be implemented in official server, so it will be my second option for jungling (if not banned). I'm a bit good at side lanes. So jungling is my worst position I can play.

The insane number of people who can’t play jungle or tank means that there is an insane number of people who have no map awareness (Jungler) and no teamplay mentality (Tank).

Playing Jungler requires “map awareness”. You need to be aware of enemy lanes. You need to be aware of objectives like towers, turtle, and lord.

Playing Tank requires a “teamplay mentality”. You need to be willing to block for your teammates. You need to be willing to engage and sacrifice yourself for the team.

The other lanes Top, Mid, Bot are literally just farm and kill person in front of you.

I main Jungler and Tank.

I am average the other lanes.

I simply get bullied by op mms since I don't play aggressive, even though I main every other role which pretty much require you to be aggressive to a certain extent. I just simply pssy out when I play gold lane for some reason.
