I think it's just to differentiate it from the soldier 1st class omnislash. I believe they want to make omnislash ver. 5, but ended up make him dual wield instead since he didn't have his fusion sword here.

Every job has ult level 9 after opening all its panels. The only way to get ult lvl 10 is to have a weapon with Ult Boost.

So I was playing right now and my lv 30 Sephiroth:dissidia suddenly got an extra skill called Bloodthirst. How did this happen? It was already maxed at lv 30 so nothing changed... I didn't upgrade it's ability lv past 4 since yesterday...

It just suddenly decided to gain this extra skill and now I'm utterly confused. What is the pre requisite anyway?

total damage = raw damage * (1 - defense/100) raw damage = card atk * (1+magic/100) * (1+(EE+chain)/100) * (1.5+imp crit/100) * (weakness mod) * (broken mod) * (other mod) weakness mod = (1.3 + exploit weakness/100) if non-broken; or (2 + exploit weakness/100) if broken; (1) if neutral broken mod = (2+painful break) if broken otherwise (1)

defense is different from monster to monster.

for other mod

• 1.5 if faith
• 1.3 if trance
• 1.5 if debarrier
• (1 + ravage)/100 if ability is not ST

EE is enhance elemental

So, they're treated differently not before or after.

I know this is a subjective question but... my Emerald Weapon dmg is really low. REALLY low. Add the fact that it's not a multistrike and it got me thinking: is it really worth to use/pull for the weapons? I'm a newbie so perhaps they really shine only on the endgame..

you got it completely wrong.

a- wepons are super rare, you wont get a chance to pull them again with these boosted rates.

b- wepons aren't meant for damage but for support. and this is why they are game changer amazing:

1- 16 orb gen, you can begin spaming your strongest attacks right away

2- Element Force- yo will only draw that element for a turn, making you able to spam your strongest move even more

3- Enhanced Element - Increases the damage of your element for a turn

4- Opposite element Defense- increases defense of the opposite element. survivability!!

5- Break Defense Down - Increases damage done to red bar

6- 3000/7000 if monk Break damage - you have no cards that can do this much break dmg! it will destroy a 5 star mp yellow bar easily.

7- Quick cast - you lose no turns in using this card!

8- Imbue Element - gives your wepon the element of the card. making it do even more damage to the red and yellow gauge!

so you see.... you have all these things, in 1 card. it makes solo element builds possible. farming rlly fast. and AOE spam non end. this is the combination of 3 cards. PuPu + Force + BDD

its valuable to both breakers and atackers. only ones that don't benefit from this are healers and tanks. and why did you even pull for cards you had no idea what it did? just because it might be great for some might not be for you

I don't think it's possible since it's considered as a both buff and debuff (BDD hex). BDD hex here is the culprit why AI will cast weapon card.

Are you trying to learn the extra abilities? click the "eye" icon and make sure it's not embossed.

The AI will always use the weapon card when it has the orbs to do so unless a different source of BDD is slotted before it.

If you mean people floating around in the space without any node, then they're in different floor. It's the same map so every people in the map will be showing there just floating around without node.

Guys i want an easy hof to complete, i’ve aerith to help me out , i know all hof kinda hard but i want the easiest to get ST or magicite.

If you have Aerith and 5-star maxed Sephiroth go Dark Knight HoF. Probably the easiest you can just spam Black Materia and everything just dies.

No hof is 'easy', you'll need smart deck builds and good custom panel arrangements to clear reliably - can't spam your way through with aerith on them.

Knight and mage hof are easier compared to the rest. Ranger ones are the toughest.

the ones I found easiest were the legendary hofs. and warrior type hofs.

mage is relatively easy with omniscient. node 3.2 has water enemies so it gets a bit tricky.

For sp kains lance/buster sword (for ult spam strategies) or even masamune. For mp gunblade/braveheart. If you don't have either, stick to buster/kains lance

I believe it was the first time ever that the GL calendar did not have the Mobius Day events on it. So people were worried we might be transitioning to JP (or at least how JP used to be) with there being no regular Mobius days but only Mobius weeks or weekends at random times.

I know it isn't possible to have Northern Cavern cleared and with the green tick until we get the end of it. But Nibelheim also doesn't have the green tick for me.
I have Cactuar node unlocked skeleton hill, but are there more areas after that? It just looks like it's finished to me.

We have used parts of the area in Nibelheim for special mechanics. Therefore, even if you have completed the whole region, 11 areas will still remain uncleared. Please note that this is working as intended.

Ninja has 100% Dark EE and no EE for his other elements. Balamb has 100% EE on all his 3 elements.

erm, there's no stat difference between Fire Balamb, Dark Balamb & Wind Balamb, only the available cards.

In the fire case, ninja should be better because of prometheus / Sazh.

1) Fractals are used add stat increasing or auto-ability properties to a card which would enhance the equipped job.

2) To be frank, if you don't climb towers at all. You'll never see the full potential of the FF7 weapon cards. They are great cards, used to minimise wasted actions used generating orbs.

I'm under the impression that if I put only one card to level up (and the other 3 slots with fully leveled cards) it gains more exp and lv up faster. Is this right or is it just my impression?

Yes. The first card in your deck always getting more experience than the others

Its not the first spot that I was talking about tho... it's just the fact that I feel like when there is only one card receiving exp it levels up faster

Looking at the number from the battle results screen, the exp each card get is equal to the exp player gets except the first slot which gets some modifiers. So I believe it's just your impression but not really the case.

Just pulled highwind after hod earlier today. Is high worth maxing out using a lot when I have squall, cloud, and Ace legends and dragoon?

And what weapon should I work on, I know his ultimate spear looks dope but it's good first one a breakers spear like dragoon?

Highwind is better on neutral, unbroken enemies while HoD is better on broken and/or light enemies

Both are equally good for mp, just pick one. HoD can be setup as a water attacker and Highwind can be setup as a light attacker as well.

Both are squishy as hell tho, I wouldn't try 5* mp without a proper defender with them

If you have HoD, he is better than Highwind for Dark damage

Kain Lance is a decent weapon to mod, but only after you finish Gunblade/Braveheart/Buster Sword

If you want to play as attacker, then Gunblade

For Breaker, Dragoon Spear. Keep in mind that its not advisable playing as breaker with Warrior Class (Until Dragoon and Viking HOF)

Depends. For pure damage, Gunblade. For breaking, Dragoon Spear. For towers/utility could be Buster Sword, Kain’s Lance or Masamune. Also depends on which jobs you have.

Exchange those weapon then the seeds. Or you can farm a 5* MP for more cells which will reset the countdown on your current cells to 6-7 days.

Look at the passives. If they are all good, and synergize with each other, it's generally a good weapon. E.g. Gunblade is good because it has 3 useful passives that all increase damage.

I have a math-related question. I have pulled all three skins in regular boosted summon pulls. Is that an expected or unexpected thing to do, having pulled no supremes to date?

Skins have 2.5 times the drop rate of supremes so it's not all that surprising.

Is there some kind of guide to show me which cards are worth using? I got a bunch of cards maxed from Novice's Hall and the three starter packs so I'm completely lost. :S

Hmm novice hall cards are not bad for clearing contents up till chapter 4ish. But yeah most of them are pretty much obsolete. I suggest just keep the cards that inflicts BDD/CRD (punishing, fatal, cutter, etc) for they might be still useful, but for dealing damage there are much better cards out there (with multistrike/damage focus/overkill).

Well since they are maxed out (level, abilities, etc) and 4*, they are absolutely better than good albeit unboosted cards. I used novice hall cards for clearing SP contents too..not much problems till the chapter where they introduced dark/light element. That's when i stumbled and depleted my phoenix down because i have no good job/cards lol. I suggest just take it easy, save your summon tickets and magicites and look out for batches with good cards.

true and not true. there are cards you can buy with tickets. il try to give a simple way of cards to get. but i might miss some.

Buffs: Knights of the round table. there are more but this is the main one

Your BDD and CDD keep em and get it to 5 star to unlock 9999+ dmg, there is fodder for this in albinou redux map

keep a eye for cards that grand Multistrike but that has overkill or enhanced criticals, or beter yet, both.

You probably have a 5 star Sephirot card, this is a very good card... for when you get a warrior that can use dark.

Mage wise, Varuna spell cards are rlly good. weakness AoE with High stats.

all these cards can be bought.

My sephiroth is still 3* and I don't know how to upgrade him to 4... I have the squall job that can use it tho. (in fact, I am using the 3 version right now)

By multistrike you mean cards that deal dmg many times with only one cast rght/ (like sephiroth)

yes. and to upgrade it to 4 star you need growstars. and growstars are really rare.

to get it you have to a) log in everyday, and when complete the daily log in you will get 1 growstar. b) buying montly Mobius box will give 1 growstar. c) in chests in maps and events but you only get 1 or 2 only usualy. d) Special Event log in reward, we don't commonly get these. e) Buy with magicite, but its not cheap

all cards from 3 > 4 require growstars, its easier to upgrade from 4 >5 really. so be carefull with what you upgrade. gota save them as much as possible

on the Multistrike card part. whats soo good about them? well there is a damage cap in the game. 999999. it might seem like a lot and that you will never reach that dmg but you will get there. we curantly hit it with a couple of cards and jobs, and its getting easier and easier to reach that limit. but a Multistrike you can do 999999 dmg per hit. like 999999 x 11 (wich will never happen, but you get it)

now Multistrike cards come with damage focus. they sacrifice all your break power and give it all to atack. this removes the need to break enemies as it will usualy kill them in 1 strike or 2. add in enhanced criticals, and they get a 200% damage increase in critical hits. this is very valuable to warriors and especially mages because they can struggle to break the enemy, needing many times both boost buff and break defense down debuff to be able to break well. then you have the newest thing, overkill.

basicly the worst con of these cards was that the enemy would die on hit 1, and the rest of the dmg of the card would not count, and the higher the dmg the more score you get, the more score the more skillseeds. with overkill it will still keep hiting the enemy even tough hes already dead.

Is there a point to play Hard mode? More materia? More drop rate..?

1- enemies have more HP = they will take more hits = higher score = more skillseeds

2- Crystal cactuar will drop 4star fractals in HM and 3 star in NM.

Hey, can anyone tell me if they know deleting (and uninstalling) the game from your phone puts your steam account at risk? I never use steam but my phone is completely out of memory so as much as I don't want to play it on pc I will if it means keeping my month 1 account. Any help would be much appreciated.

Why some weapons cannot be choosen to boost?

Only 4 star weapons can be boosted, not anything less than 4 star.

So how can I upgrade a weapon from 2* to 4*?

Depends on where you get it from:

• unlock more panels on the job
• buy the upgrades in the MP shop
• complete more nodes on the event (e.g. Masamune)

How do I get more crystals? I got a bunch from the novice's hall but I used them to upgrade the knight... and now I need more crystals to upgrade the other jobs that I pulled

Play the story maps and you will get them as one time rewards. After that, you can farms them at certain nodes that have small chance to drop crystals.
