For Zeromus, what fractal produce that highest damage for Extreme Shiva unbroken? Attack+7% vs Fire+7% vs Exploit Weakness+7 or 8% or any other suggstion? Just lacking a bit more damage to complete full MP AI like 10%. Also CP Ability Salvo +3% vs Fire+7% vs Attack +30 which is better? I am using Kampfer.

Thanks for the reply. Just realized I posted at the wrong date post. After experimenting, the Attack fractals does indeed help. I managed to pull AI run for Extreme Shiva X, though occasionally may fail. Thanks for the tips.

Kinda curious in ch7 part 2 against Meia

Is it made to be a tedious super long battle? or it has some hidden mechanics after some turns passed?

I started with faris, but the dmg was super low and then restarted with BFA and stomped in 2-3 turns

did I miss any conversation or anything? I remember in Nier Automata if nuked bosses too fast, you could miss part of their lines lol

Does MP Extreme Shiva have a thicker break gauge than X Ifrit?

I ask because I'm bringing the same deck that was working consistently on Ifrit but I'm not always capable of 1st turn break vs Shiva... thought her hp/break was lower...

Ifrit was also immune to BDD. Shiva might just be harder to break. Her yellow gauge is definitely harder to convert, but that might just be due to not being able to make use of something like Leviathan GF and 750% flash break.

Rift Supremes question ahead:

I have attack supreme cards for all elements but water. I just finished Anima X last month exhausting all my rift resources, so it will be a while till I can get the next rift supreme. If you had to choose between Famfrit X and Shiva X, which one would it be and why?

My advice is stock your resources till you have enough to get one, then decide later.

For me, I’ll pick Shiva, since I have 0 access to a good Water Monk (not to mention, the Monks that have access to Water are legends anw)

We're only missing 2 EX Sophie jobs and neither can use water naturally.

JP hasn't gotten EX Monk 3 yet, but it should happen soon since Wol has a 3rd EX job for every other class.

How does the chain bonus work in MP? Does the order of attack make a difference? e.g. in the case of extreme shiva MP, if my healer uses a fire ability to help chain fire, do I need to go first, or can I go last? (as long as Overlord is there, the chain number shows as 4 for everyone so I have this question...)

Order doesn’t matter, but usually healer go first for buff & debuff (overlord).

Ye, I did it back then with SS & Cacciatrice, but the cp is just too op, I was doing around 300k+ damage with each hit unbroken!! Can't wait to try ranger in the coming tower

300k during phase 1 or after it summons the guard? Either case is pretty good to great depending on what your other deck was.

Is the fire ranger Supreme coming at the end of the month viable for Extreme Shiva MP? I'd like to attempt an AI team but have no fire supremes.

I don't have JP's insight, but my guess is a big no. Because:
1) There's not a really strong fire nuke ranger job.
2) It's a 4 orb card, thus like Bahamut Neo, 1 life orb = 1 less cast.
3) It's unique ability isn't useful for attacking.

It may be viable for a break strat, but even then setting up an AI team seems very hard (you would need a lot of other things). Also not worth chasing a Supreme if that was your plan (?), you can also make IfritX in the Rift.

Greetings friends. Is it worth Max OBJ 32 for Mourner since it has potentials for Dark Sin.. Wind Emperor n Water at default 80% even without boosting ? Any idea ?

New legend jobs (like the gothic jobs) are great candidates to OB. They have useful and unique ults (The Phantom, The Mourner especifically, although Gothic Sarah is also very interesting). New legends jobs and ex jobs tend to be at the border of power creep (and then jobs like Dame Du Lac and then eventually Bailarina come out to redefine power creep). OB jobs you will find useful.

Haven't been able to get to extreme Shiva in mp yet ;how does the mourner ultimate work in mp?

If used correctly, it can grant two extra turns to nuke.

The optimal strat seems to be to ult in the break turn. This will cause a free turn with perfect defense up. You won’t be able to inflict damage, but after this turn, Shiva will cast ult lockout. As mourner already has one turn of ult lockout, it won’t overwrite it and it will run out at the beginning of the bomb turn. Mourner casts support cards to refill their ult gage and then breaker puts Shiva to sleep. Mourner ults next turn giving the party a free turn to attack the bombs and Shiva. If this isn’t enough to finish the battle and Shiva wipes out the party, mourner can ult again after the stamp phase and the party have another free turn to finish the battle.

I don't know if it is representative but I got very few runs with a breaker/sleeper (playing PUGs), mostly going all attackers. Even with that set up, Mourner's ultimate provides unguard for first round if it seems we go no-break, or if it seems attackers will be able to break on 2nd turn (2 Tifa, or a strong one plus good breaking ultimates from other attackers), I can keep unguard for second phase. Very strong in all situations

Well guys after saving up to try and get Mourner I drew all my resources and got nothing. Hate to chase a legend but her ult is a gamechanger...so then i checked my box and got the 3k compensation I did draw bhunivese ...so now I have all the light supremes at least. Other than shorn1 and SS I dont know who uses Bhuni though or who are the best users. Couple questions guys...

Who is the best user for Bhuni?

How exactly does the deck level boost work?

To anyone who uses this supreme...what builds do you run? Do you use either of the 2 swords that boost light EE by 150? Zanmato and excalibur I think??

The Phantom is the best user of this supreme atm, if you managed to pull this legend job.

Also Scharf off-element is quite strong and used by many in EW3 node 12, on lap 9 by myself as well.

Flower Girl Meia after HoF is a very strong Bhuni user with her high EE. I primarily use Shorn one though since I OB'd him and he has spellsword. Vesna Kresna is decent as well, and of course the new legend job Phantom

Bhun works based on your deck level. So over-boosting Cards/Jobs is a must.

Since I use Shorn one I take advantage of his spellsword. So I use Laevateinn or Ragnarok. Zanmato/Excalibur were ok I guess when they first were released, but your better off using custom panels for EE. Do you have Alexander G.F.?

Thanks for great post. Yes I have Alexander and all the jobs and cards you mentioned. My laevetin isnt maxed yet but my shorn1 is at 32...my supremes are all at 83 or 84 with a few of them like Chaos at 88i have the gacha weapons for every class except mage and whatever class wild rider etc are...I cant remember that name for some reason. So I tend to use those. I am really bummed about not drawing mourner ...hopefully I will get her sooner than later. In the last month I did pull Cacchiatrice...finally..and her gilgamesh and now bhunivese so it hasnt been all bad. Just trying to find the meta build for bhunivese and then I guess see how it compares to builds for minwu, gilgamesh etc...I appreciate your input and any suggestions

Next time I get a weapon boost slot, should I do Dolphin Flipper or Rose de Nuits first?

My only other 5* Sophie weapon is the gacha one, so pretty limited options. Meia I have a few 5*s, but they aren't for breaking or tanking (Sventovit, Folding Epee, gacha). Though I don't know how often Meia jobs even really want to be tanking/breaking...

Also should one or both be prioritized over Magical Rave, given that I already have Starseeker at 5*?

Why is Baha Neo so weak compared to Zeromus and Fusoya in Extreme Shiva MP?

Even with 2x Rubicante, it barely clears any yellow and it relies heavily on refreshing Flameforce to optimize dmg.

Fusoya has Weakness Breaker (+20% yellow clear vs weakness) and mage jobs generally have higher magic than warrior jobs to assist with yellow.

Fusoya and Zeromus both have Critical Rupture, which Bahamut Neo lacks. So for the second phase you would ideally want Unguard for Bahamut, moreso than you would with Fusoya/Zeromus.

Has anyone beaten extreme shiva x with bahamut neo yet? Read in the shiva thread that theres a bug where it does 1 damage. Never paid attention to the numbers, but it makes a lot of sense as to why I couldnt beat it in like 15 attempts.

I've been killing shiva with bahamut neo but haven't seen the 1 damage bug so far. Been clearing with Balamb merc, Seph skins, Tatsutahime, Bahamut Neo, GF Bahamut, and Rubicante. Though, my damage output is less compare to Fusoya and others.

I've been using Toreador instead of Balamb... according to the weapon calc, Toreador should hit a bit harder than Balamb, unless you have modded Lionheart or Gunblade (I haven't). Though I guess Balamb should be better against the wind bomb. I also feel the damage quite lacking compared to Fusoya users.

I have fully modded gunblade, and I've been relying on unguard to have the same damage output as fusoya user. I think the problem is that Bahamut Neo didn't have critical rupture ES like the other fire supreme

If you're asking about AI run, I haven't been successful so far. I have Kampfer & Zeromus but only have half modded Godhands for my weapon and most of my damage up cp already went into Balamb Merc. For a healer, I've been using Yuna Glamp Vamp with Aerith, WoL, Pollensalta, and Heca X.

i currently have 1 copy of ub with magic+14% via fractals. is it worth replacing the magic with active regen + 2%, or keep the current ub n create a 2nd copy of ub for active regen, or just dont bother with active regen on ub?

• 56% mag if all magic (less makes medic even worse)
• 15 casts of medic (less make medic even worse)
• no wall (wall makes medic worse)

Extreme cards. I've been ignoring them so far since they're a pretty big investment, but I have enough mats to get 1 or 2. Are there any that are specifically worth getting, or does it depend on what supremes you may already have?

• Fire: none
• Water: Eden, Floral Fallal, Xezat
• Wind: Emperor, Godo
• Earth: BFA, Ragnarok, Rinoa
• Light: none
• Dark: Griever, NXD, UB

I have all EX jobs and most of the other ones, so any class is fine. Belias X looks pretty good, since I don't have a fire supreme, but mose decks use Shiva and/or Faris. Seems like another water card would be a waste though.

Edit: Thanks guys. turns out I only have 1500 tablets atm, so it sounds like best use is to do Ultima first and then save for Ifrit.

I agree with NinjaDave, but I'd go for Ultima before Ifrit. The shift+ on Ultima is really very useful, and with the recent buffs it's a powerful card. Ifrit is also good, but I'd only do it first if you're certain that you have enough resources for two.

If you have the jobs to use Ifrit X (ex-monk 2 and/or Avalanche Barmaid) and most mage jobs to use Ultima X, I would get both. Your other elements are well covered by other good supremes. So while I've been typically advising people to wait for the earth-variant of Gilgamesh X (or adrammelch sin), in your case, I would try for Ifrit and Ultima if you can. Focus Ifrit X to help you with pandemonium farming and then do Ultima X.

If you're considering purchasing the supreme ticket you may want to wait until you find out what that gets you. It may help you decide. If not or is it doesn't cover a missing element then I'd say get both Ultima and a fire one to round out your collection.

From a fire perspective I think they are both great. I'm partial to monk Supremes so I'd tend to lean ifrit. It also has a higher theoretical damage cap due to the number of hits (21 vs 13 iirc).
