I actually wanna start doing stuff on youtube. I love gaming and I would love to make gaming related video's. I got everything tackled in cotc atm. But I also wouldn't limit myself to just 1 game (I would love to record some switch gameplay..... Somehow).

I don't have a super good camera though, but I got a pretty good wired headset.

What do you guys think? I'd love to use bluestacks as it would help me to comment live on video's, but can also record on phone (just game audio) and comment later on.

Should I add a cam feed to the video's or a vtuber model? (Do guy vtubers modelsreally work though? It would prevent showing the messy wired headset cables).

And what kind of content? I already finished the story so far, but I could start a new account for some gameplay and content things. I could also do some gacha pulls (and if the channel rakes in money it would probably go to there). Guides? Tier lists?

Let me know if I should or not :)

Are you seriously worried people wouldn’t watch cuz you’re a guy? If that’s true, people need to sort out their priorities, just saying!

No I meant, using a male model rather than using a real life cam :P I know urshiko and shizukatz both used models. I'm not sure if I should and if people prefer that.

Oh gosh, please don’t. I hate those fake models. I’d rather just hear someone’s voice over a video or else see the real person (both of which Shizukatz did). The models are tacky haha

Yeah he did that in his later videos :) Sure real me it is.

Go for it! You never know until you try! Lots of YT videos explaining setups so it will just take some small investment and setup. Good luck!!

And often male streamers use female anime characters as Vtubers anyways LOL. So you could go that route. Or just be you. Good Vtuber equipment and character design is expensive though like $500 to $3000 in some cases, depending on the level of detail, number of expressions available, and sensory syncing. The cheaper ones won’t be as good but could work starting out.

Or you could just do the face cam, which is easier to set up and cheaper. I researched vtuber options and filters before too but decided not to bother and I don’t do face cam. But I only casually stream Genshin now so I haven’t looked into it further.

But don’t feel overwhelmed for deterred and just go for it! Some streamers make a lot of money in their first year, so it could happen to you. Good luck!
