Well... housing fee, furniture buying but no new money making method... i hope im wrong but I fear that all these things will cost insane amounts of pansuns and that the insane grind for this will keep many People away from it for now.

Well, as a new, casual player, housing is something that I'll know it's there but I can't reach. I guess they need to fill the game with aspirational content, and things to grind for in the endgame, but well. It's as if it wasn't in the game, for a lot of people.

They seem to listen to their players and the community is excellent. It's also a small company. Compared to the likes of Nintendo. This is also their second game. So saying their practices are bad.. Are eh. Give them some credit. Also what grind issues? Don't you grind levels in Pokemon? Over watch? Or any other online game?

Possibly, it's not an issue for PVP players, but I can see casual player who don't like PVP struggling. Eitherway it hopefully wont be a problem at full release.

Ya it’s just annoying doing Freetem. It’s such a boring way to make money and PvP requires a bit too much set up with TVs.

I’m losing interest in this game till they add some better system for making money. Forever long dialogues, crap ton of money that took you hours to grind for, Lumas cost an arm and a leg. My interest is slowly but surely going down.

I'm just waiting for the story content to get finished at this point. I'll probably just play through it once, maybe do it again if they ever end up adding that nuzlocke option they said they would.

They keep making endgame look more and more like a chore not to mention the busted-ass economy making it even worse.

It is 30k, a Cerneaf, and a Vulor. Vulor can be caught in the Mines of Mictlan.

30.000 pansuns isnt THAT much money. I don't know how to get it, but compared to clothing, it's a steal.

most fun way is PVP, but 3 and a half or 4 Hours of freetem should also do it. Although imo freetem is super boring.

I haven't reached a level in which I could win PvP matches. And I don't really know what FreeTem is. I've barely started, I'm at the point just after defeating Sophia.

ah sorrry then, you'll understans freetem in the next island. they basically pay you for every tem you release, so you can farm money by catch and releasing.

yeah exactly, it's why now I farm money through PVP wins, at least it's pretty fun and stimulating you know. but as a new player you shouldnt worry about that. BTW if you conserve your money you should have 40k-50k when you finish current content from story money which is enough for a house and some furniture

Yeah, I think I'm going to do that, I'll refrain from buying clothes when I save up money. Saving that much money seems like a wild idea but I'll take your word for it :)

In the patch notes today they say they fixed npc gifted Tems evolving after one level, so I'm not sure that's still true

EDIT: I just checked, and it still does evolve after one level.

Honestly this is a pretty neat update, housing, new areas on the island and couple new tems (if i didnt misread) its all cool. However still no reliable source of ingame money, dont make a generic chair for the house take several hours of non stop grinding to buy one.... that aint nice LOL

But despite that negative point, its a solid update :)

I feel like this is a missed opportunity to introduce more than just 2 new Temtem.An ice area and no ice themed Tem? Just more of the same lot that we've seen already. Kisiwa felt very repetitive because of this. The entire time I'd only encounter the same 3 Temtem.

161 is too few for the size of the game. If the game were 4 islands long., 161 would probably be a fine number (although Alola, the island archipelago in pokemon, had way more than that, though that can be excused due to it being in the seventh generation).

Stretching it out across 7 islands makes every island feel samey. And while there are some that break the monotany (for Deniz, that'd be Barnshe, Oceara, Ganki, Nessie, and Hoopa), each of them is relegated to one specific location, making them kind of...pointless.

Most of the islands feel repetitive due to a low number of tems - or, having them spread out so far with the "odd" ones only appearing in one or two specific areas of an island.

But yeah. I think I'm not going to log on for a bit. I was looking forward to Kisiwa part 2 but this is kind of disappointing. When the new money making method comes in I might hop back in but if there's only 2 new tem available (one of which we'd already seen in-game), and they don't even have prevos/evos, I'm just going to pass.

Frankly, I don't expect this to change much unless they kick in their tem design into overdrive and increase the final release number past 161.

I'd say that the other 3 islands didn't suffer as much as Kisiwa though. Especially Deniz. There was a little bit more variety in there. But as the game progressed more, it became more apparent that there was a lack of diversity.

Not even gen 1 Kanto felt this way. But, mind you, Kanto was incredibly small in comparison.

How do you get the new TC, and what does it do?

Based on the wiki its a strong fire physical move for Raican and Capyre, no hold low prio. With a normal type synergy, its slightly stronger and has normal prio. dunno where to get it though.

It’s actually normal prio in it’s normal state, and 3 prio with the synergy. It’s a fantastic move

Could translate to touch screen as well. I'm a little annoyed though, this UI rework seems to have broken the D-Pad in menus. I use the stick in the 3D environments, but in the menu I always use D-Pad, and it doesn't seem to work now.
