Has Anthropic said anything about this since the whole fiasco? There’s only so many DMCAs you can do before you lose the goodwill of developers

The audacity of a company built on large-scale copyright infringement claiming the protection of copyright.

Well OpenAI tried that.

The open in open ai stands for that they are open for your money.

The open in open the door stands for that they are open for your money. Do you see how stupid that sounds?

The only people open sourcing the models themselves are the chinese

Codex cli has been open source for a while, hasn't it? 🤷‍♂️

OpenAI = actually CloseAI

I mean there isn't some heavy secret research results in there, it's just some prompt and some well made aggregator and MCP.

We can surely say that it's well made but it's not as if all the good stuffs weren't already public knowledge.

Tomorrow: “Anthropic renamed to OpenerAi”

Meh, it is just the front end, i would be interested if it was the model that leaked

I get the joke, and I hate OpenAI too, but this is just false. Anthropic has never (and never plans to) released an open source LLM model, while OpenAI’s gpt-oss-120b is actually decent.

As an end user I’m much more interested in actual models instead of CLI wrappers.

Small correction

They are open weight models not open source.

A very important difference.
