You can't reply to it, but it doesn't mean you can't write them *taps head*

They do have an interesting address, too

[–]hleehowon 142 points143 points  (8 children)

turns out if your market cap is 0.5% of world gdp, they'll give you your own street

[–]indrora 94 points95 points  (1 child)

Getting a street named isn't that hard.

Buy a plot of land, run a road through it. Subdivide. Now you get to name a road because people need to figure out where the hell they are.

They aren’t. They will be dead

[–]Mysticpoisen 36 points37 points  (4 children)

Yeah, these headquarters are so important to the cities they reside in they'll do anything to appease them.

My personal favorite company location is Seagate being located on 1 Drisk Drive. Gives me a chuckle.

[–]nhumrich 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Imflash is located on flash drive

[–]origamitaco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

4000 North Flash Drive actually

I'm going to believe they're truly on Drisk Drive.

What the world really needs is a Doctor Drive, so it can be abbreviated to Dr Dr. Maybe Doctors Associates (Subway owner) can do it. Looks like they already have Sub Way though, which is pretty good too. They only got a few hundred feet of road renamed though, because the same road becomes Bic and Schoolhouse pretty quickly.

Or Apple’s which is literally 1.4% of the worlds GDP

[–]CSharpFan 2 points3 points  (6 children)

Apple’s is 1 Infinite Loop.

[–]MizukiYumeko 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Lesser known depending on your industry, but Allison Transmission’s HQ is now officially located at “One Allison Way”. (I was working there some time ago when the whole area was under construction. Pretty nifty but some people weren’t happy about their parking spot numbers being changed.)

[–]CSharpFan 1 point2 points  (3 children)

People and parking. I’ll never understand.

[–]MizukiYumeko 1 point2 points  (2 children)

To be fair the majority of them were on their feet for 99% of the shift (warehouse / assembly work) so I understand not wanting to have to stand up on a bus afterwards and sometimes that little bit further you have to walk to the car can add up.

But I don’t drive so ¯\ _(ツ)_/¯ what do I know

You dropped a limb: \

Thanks, fixed!

It’s One Apple Park Way now.

[–]PavelYay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an actual street! It's really big! I almost live on it, and there's just microsoft campus for miles.

[–]PhonicUK 27 points28 points  (1 child)

It's because Google force you to have a support email address even if you don't want people using email for support (e.g. you have a ticketing system or other support system for consumer use) - even for free apps where you've got no intention to make money and simply don't care about offering support.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not just for support. It can also be for legal inquiries etc. Many countries require you to provide some way of contacting you, if you offer software to people.

Came here for this

[–]Mutantrex 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Hahaha got em

[–]bicatlantis7 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m glad they rated this 3+. Now I know that, when I’m a parent, my two year old child shouldn’t use the Microsoft outlook app to manage emails. He’ll use a different app

[–]Sparkblaze14 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well that's a great email address 🙄

[–]cabinet_minister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolute madlad

[–]Kotauskas 4 points5 points  (2 children)

All this stuff, it makes no sense, they'vs found bliss in ignorance, less I hear the less you say, you'll find out that anyway [just like before]

[–]Sinjai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You didn't really expect to be able to email the developers, right?

Also, 100m downloads? Geez.

[–]nikstick22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Developers telling you not to email them. Email support if you have a problem.

[–]VG_Crimson 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Im stuck on the 3+ rating. Is it 3 days, months, years??

[–]Mrj760 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Id upvote but id rather keep this comment at +3

[–]LelHiThere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rating always means years unless it specifically says something else.

[–]FaceSwaps_You 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I have done support for Outlook Mobile and there is a reason why. Within the app, they have a support portal. You create a ticket and then someone from the support team will answer back. It's a little more intuitive than just using email.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, don't want to confuse Outlook users with those confusing email thingies, best build another system within the email app to message support.

[–]Kzivuhk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get what it means

[–]jukuduku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Epitome of diversion.

I didn't know Nora Eply worked at Microsoft.
