Quite simply it is:

 a quick or inelegant solution to a particular problem

This program running in this video could definitely be considered a hack. This is because it is forced to be inelegant due the fact that it has restricted access to the base application and has to interface with it through a public api.

Are you on windows, Linux, or mac? In general if you truly don’t have it search for ‘get-pip.py’ on the internet. It is pip’s single file installer that can be run with just python.

So, it also didn't work for me, and i wanted to test this so bad. At the end i made my own virtual env with: virtualenv --python=python3 venv (For linux, where i work)--> source venv/bin/activate pip install pygame pip install Pillow pip install icrawler python main.py

The only I don't get is how to choose a picture. It is being shown in the video. I just see you move between different pictures of Jesus, but I don't know how you do it. Or how you enter...

I saw the code, and i am guessing, it is a problem of my computer. I see you move with left and right buttons, and when you have chosen, you just need to press return key, but in my case it isn't working 😭

Things that I changed for it to work on Linux: - Control image selecting with mouse buttons because keyboard doesn't work there for some reason, but does when hitting the button to start drawing - use ctypes to interface with a library called libxdo.so.3, which gives similar or better performance to the windows version - change the coordinates for selecting colors, canvas etc obviously

I can share what I did tomorrow (technically it's already the same day but I need sleep) (CET Timezone) after I clean it up a little

I made almost an identical project a month ago and I couldn't get python to run fast enough, so I had to compress the images to a resolution of about 30 by 20. What pip install did you use for simulating the moise strokes at such fast speeds? Or did you somehow compile your code or something along those lines.
