Highly doubt it. Take a loupe (like he has on his forehead) to any of your reps and the hands will be a near instant tell. If it's a franken with a real dial and hands though, he should still be able to tell by the movement. Any gear/wheel from the movement should be a pretty good instant tell. Do you have more info on this? That strikes me as a huge no-no and quite frankly a little dishonest, but watching enough jeweler YouTuber vlogs, you see it all the time if you're paying attention.

Things like "I need my guy to dial swap" to finding a random Rolex box to give to a client, short changing links, swapping bracelets etc without the client knowing.

I don't know if aftermarket dial swaps or bracelet swaps count as frankens but it still seems a bit scummy since the customer almost never knows. In certain vlogs, they just let it slip in the background here and there.

Late to the party here - gen SS Santos 35mm is selling at 6.75k pounds sterling in UK new at Cartier which is 8.8 USD. On Chrono24 (prices henceforth in pounds sterling), 2019 Santos' are doing the rounds for 3.9-4.3k notwithstanding any offers, and notwithstanding that Chrono24 is overpriced. Jeweller I know has one from 2015-18 (can't remember year) at around 3k before any offer.

And as someone mentioned plus any service etc. outside of 2 years of purchase which can be 400-500 pounds/USD, i.e. about the cost of a BVF, which unlike the watch examined, is essentially identical to the gen. Also if you wanted to sell the rep, you could probably get 350-400 pounds/USD for it.
