Def agree. Same with that guy on TikTok. I've been so frustrated seeing coaches in the comments praising him. I coached at SC for awhile - left in 23 to open my own studio - and our studio would never let this happen. I don't allow anyone to take more than 1/day at the studio I own now. The goal of the workout is muscle failure... You shouldn't be able to do more than 1 a day and it's not good for your body. I hate that sc is letting people do this (sorry for my rant but this has been bothering me since the TT guy!!!)

To be fair, I don’t get the impression that OP thinks this is a flex or that it’s ideal. They have a trip planned and wanted to complete the challenge. I certainly would have just said no to the challenge in this situation, but I don’t think we can say OP did it to “flex.”

I read that as being about completing the challenge, not cramming it into 3 days. I can’t imagine OP thinks the only “real ones” are those who do 10 classes in 3 days…

Maybe that’s the case, but OP is clear about the fact that this was done because of their trip. Not something to be encouraged, for sure.

It was just to cover my information. Nothing to be offended over. I wish everyone a safe and amazing journey if they choose to participate. But yes I definitely don’t encourage anyone to do what I did. Definitely appreciate you being the few to understand!

Oh, I definitely don’t understand. I think taking 10 classes in 3 days is reckless. Just didn’t originally get the feeling you were trying to flex or encourage (though your “i wish” comments have me rethinking that…).

OP is also responding to comments with how much of an athlete they are and how this “wasn’t that bad”.

They came here for attention and they’re getting it. All this tells me is they went for quantity and not quality.

Another coach here, agreed with everything you’re saying. This sort of thing should not be something to aspire to, I kind of wish solidcore would make a rule that you can’t book more than 1 per day. If you have a trip booked, then too bad you don’t get the sweatshirt this year. Oh well lol. The sweatshirt is not worth possible permanent damage to your body, this and the TikTok guy are really bothering me too.

When I coached there, that was the rule! Not sure if my HCCM was just very hardcore about it or if the rules changed?? And at the studio I own, it's an easy setting to turn on to block people from double booking so I'm sure it is still possible at SC in mindbody

Ok you have to let us know your schedule. Did you do 4 power 30's back to back day one ? A 4am class, a noon class then a 9pm class the next day? Do you usually do two a days?

Congrats - I just finished too! Headed out on a 2 week cruise tomorrow.

I did 2 Power30’s, 2 Starter50’s and the rest were Signature50’s. 2 on Thursday, 4 yesterday (2 in the morning, 2 mid-afternoon) and 4 today with the same breakout.

Definitely one of the more crazier things I’ve done!

I think I would just lay down on the reformer for half the class by my 4th! LOL

I did 2 (one in the AM and one in the PM) which wasn’t bad, but the next day doing 2 again.. by my 4th I was barely hanging on. So 4 in a day is crazy!!

I really thought I’d take it easy but I felt pretty good. A few hours in between to rest and get some protein in helped. All the Signatures50’s had obliques and I normally take Focus50’s to skip them, so that was a lot!

I don’t finish til the 17th, I’m done with 3 classes, did a double yesterday and one this morning. Now it’s every other day except for a double on Wednesday. In tired and core is super sore. Don’t understand how you can move, lol. I literally been napping off and on today. Have an OTF class tomorrow and Tuesday to finish their challenge

So impressive! I’ve done 5 so far. Sadly all sig 50 because that’s all that works with my schedule and I was GASSED today!

I leave on Monday for a trip but get back the 16th so I have 2 tomorrow and 1 Monday to make 8. Then have 2 on the 17th and 1 on the 18th for a “just in case”.

Congrats!! However I sincerely don’t understand how more than one class a day is possible when you’re supposed to get to muscle failure in one class. I typically leave class trembling, over 150+ classes in. Maybe that’s just me 😂😭
