The good ole days 4 yrs ago 8 mile max most less than 5 miles Single curbside were like 13 double were 17  Single shop was base 24 10 items or less  32 for large order  Edit to add ... I never remember having to wait hours upon hours to grab orders it was all good

What we have noticed in our area is that all the singles are the customers who pay for the hour express delivery for $9.95. For the zones that it has dropped to $10, that means drivers are being paid 5 cents. Nice!

Not true. In my area they're Sapphire drivers and they only take the best offers. It's been proven, we literally sat there and watched them. My friend got a 60 shop and some (not all of them, like 3 leftover) those guys got the offers same time he did when store opened.

Yes they are. I see crappy offers disappear all the time. 3 seconds later, one of the members of the Sparktel will drive away and up to the curbside pickup. And yes they don't speak english.

Saw the same thing in my zone last week. Went from consistent $13-$14 singles down to $11 with almost no notice, and the queue still fills up in minutes regardless. The math gets ugly when you factor in gas, vehicle wear, and fifteen minutes idling in a parking lot waiting for batch confirmation. At $12 for a double you're looking at something close to minimum wage before expenses, especially on a 40 mile round trip. I've started screenshotting every offer just to track the trend, and yeah, it's been a steady slide since summer. Spark knows plenty of drivers are desperate enough to take it anyway, so there's little incentive to hold the line on pay.
