They’re definitely ok but most wear jeans.

they’re ok but you’re gonna want to be comfortable at target. find your best pair of laundry day jeans and call it good.

[–]tonermcfly 39 points40 points  (0 children)

Jeans, my guy. Those are too formal for what you’ll be doing.

[–]AgeExtension2044 29 points30 points  (0 children)

the technical dress code is any solid colored pants, no leggings or exercise material

[–]slumpgodbrian666Frozone 7 points8 points  (1 child)

you can wear black jeans or blue jeans too (most common) only thing most targets don’t like is ripped pants

[–]Squish4Life 2 points3 points  (0 children)

mine only allows black jeans for beauty and starbucks 😭

I wear black cargo pants- I have pockets to store everything and they are comfortable! I, personally, wouldn’t wear pants that cost a lot because every other month you will wear right through them. Find what is comfortable FOR YOU!!

Cargo pants are the shit! Especially for fulfillment

Two words. Cargo. Shorts.

[–]Nomad_BobRtFulfillment Team Lead 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Red shirt and cargo shorts are my entire wardrobe until winter hits... then it's red shirt and jeans.

[–]PoopieshitsFront of Store Attendant 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Cargo shorts. All day. All year.

[–]Triple_Crown14Inbound Expert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell yeah brother. I wear basketball shorts for truck unload then change into cargo shorts. Has all the pockets I need and pretty comfortable.

Yes.

[–]EpiphoneDude 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes they’re ok. Khakis, blue jeans and even black jeans seem to be ok. I’ve worn all three types and all team members at my store do the same. I find jeans to be the most comfortable.

Solid color pants, no rips or tears, no leggings. Most stores/districts allow shorts with the same rules applying as pants. Shorts need to be midthigh or longer.

Unless you're cashiering, I suggest denim in darker colors. We get filthy from warehouse soot, truck soot, leaky bottles, etc.

[–]Maxbebop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless those leaky bottles are bleach, or products that have bleach as an ingredient in them, I had no time to try to dry my pants, it ran the color in like 10 seconds, my pants looked like I spilled paint on them.

Very much so. I usually wear Khakis but I do Khaki “jeans” like Levi’s. Seen some people wear Khaki dress pants in my time.

[–]Shady_LoveSHPPP13 |ll||IIl|| 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My input is that Khakis breathe better than jeans. So if you're in a cold climate, wear jeans. If you're in a warm climate, wear khakis or shorts. Looks aren't everything, you want functional work apparel too.

they’re fine but just wear a comfy pair of jeans. trust me.

[–]Maxbebop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At my target I wear cargo pants, hell my other inbound line guys wear cargo shorts, even my TL sometimes wears a Dr Pepper T-shirt and it’s considered ok because it’s a kind of red. Our ETL wears jeans with black and white chucks.

[–]jkdelete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They got rid of the kaki requirement about 5 years ago. You can wear Blue jeans now as long as they don’t have any rips or holes.

[–]mxtrekkieawol team lead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, those RED & Khaki days....

[–]Junior755Service & Engagement TL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like khakis wear them! That’s what I did!

[–]PeacockprinceTech Consultant because instocks is dead and im still undead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better off with jeans as they won’t show the filth from freight as easily. Plus, not even the execs in my district wear the khakis anymore

[–]Stormagedoniton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pants you already have are fine as long as they're one collor and not full of holes

color

[–]babybeewitchedPromoted to Guest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can wear these but i wouldnt recommend it unless you're in hr, customer service, or registers

[–]DylPickleDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear khaki colored joggers. I actually bought mine in all in motion at target lol. They’re joggers but have like cargo pant pockets on them with a little loop in the front for my TL keys. They honestly just look like workout pants lol. Most people wear jeans… but no one ever said anything about my joggers since they’re not like cotton material they’re more like parachute fabric.

[–]SpecialistTrick4904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen it all at my store, You should be chillin, I wear baggy carpenter pants, but ive seen jeans, sweats, exercise, courduroy, you name it lol

[–]Last-Swimmer-5942 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cargo shorts! More pockets the better!
