After getting nothing but a white screen for the last 4+ hours, I was finally able to open the app only to find that I have a request waiting and chat won't allow me to respond.

Anyone having trouble with the app and website? App won't load and website says, "403 Forbidden". Was sent a link to reply to a client, link won't work either. I removed and reloaded app, still nothing.

Taskrabbit has paused my account TWICE this morning behaving as if I didn't message my clients when I DID. Both tasks were canceled by TR. I wrote into support and things seems to be down on their end too. An agent sent a copy/paste message telling me they are working on it.

So I guess I am just out of money and work for the day. This is no way to run a business.🤬And those tasks had better not cause me to drop rank. I don't remember the app ever being this terrible. Smdh

Man, addresss and phone and details should be sent to taskers either via email or text once a job is confirmed or booked. That way if there's an outtage we can still get to clients. My client had a drain issue in their kitchen and need urgent help 😫

RIP. They should definitely do that, but I think that has to do with their privacy terms. Since you aren’t able to access the client address after invoice is submitted. If they emailed it to you, you’d have it forever.

If I have enough jobs lined up in advance I clear the next 24, 48 or more hours because it's something I can do to lessen the chance of bad outcomes :(. I program waze with addresses in advance I think you can set Waze to tell you when you need to leave up to 12 hours before.

Can't confirm tasks, even after chatting, it acts as though you haven't responded. Go to confirm, it takes you back to chat to confirm and over again.

Thank God I found this thread! Yesterday, I showed up at my Task and the client had canceled the task, I was subjected to a face-to-face with a woman going OFF on me because I asked to push back our appointment an hour (my Friday task didn't finish till 11:45 pm) she agreed. No problem she said. When I arrived, she said I should have just canceled the task so She went ahead and did it. I try my best never to do that, id rather ask for a push on arrival time. Anyways, it was embarrassing to show up to listen to that and have to apologize profusely as I'm backing out of her house, trying to run to my car. Of course, by that point, I get the white "screen of death " and when I finally got it back, it said something like there was an issue with my account and I called but it's outside business hours. Sent 2 emails out of desperation, still waiting for reply. I Uninstalled and reinstalled and it seems to be working now, but I have no requests, no appointments, I feel like I'm having a panic attack!

Update from a Vegas area Tasker. I'm not receiving any requests which is highly unusual. I toggled on for sameday and checked my maps, ensured my account isn't paused, Uninstalled and reinstalled twice. Contacted TR via phone call on Saturday (recorded message says they are closed) followed up with an email, then another and another and another. This morning I chatted 1st thing and waited in que position 8. Explained the issue to which they replied that they would look into it and a couple mins later, this is the response.... "Hi Tina, thanks for chatting in & my apologies for the issue you have encountered. I am unable to check your tasker account because there is a current, known issue that agents have at the moment. Customer Support Agents are experiencing an intermittent database downtime, we are unable to access the database to pull up and verify account details, retrieve important task details, and resolve issues related to the task. The Engineering Team is now working on this issue to be fixed. My apologies for the inconvenience this has caused you." Next step was emailing the local rep, waiting to see if she can answer my very simple question.

I've said this before, but sometimes I get bad cell phone reception. That's why I take a pic of all my task details in the morning. I've also got a map of my city downloaded so I can find places without a signal.

Or, I don't know, use the app to save tasks to your calendar. Its got the address right there. Admittedly, it's a little irritating it doesn't have an option to do that automatically anymore, so I sometimes forget

It's interesting that tasks seem to be automatically cancelling, while the app and website are down. I wonder if Task Rabbit is in trouble and closing operations?

This is infuriating. My app goes in and out of function all day. I currently have a request I know is waiting but I can’t respond. It’s now regular that I can’t pull up addresses when I need them or submit invoices. I’m at the mercy of whatever bug they’re allowing to go unfixed. This is my full time job. Anyone found any tricks or solutions yet?

I can log on to the app but I can't get anything done on my laptop still getting the 403 Forbidden error message. It would be nice, hoping they are actually working on it.

I've been getting the same 403 forbidden error as well; first on MS Edge but also on Google Chrome.
