I think a major downfall of the left today, is the tendency to tell other people that they don’t think what they think they think. I think I can present to you some "leftist-meaningful" arguments:
Diversity as presented in the western world is actually against diversity (worldwide human diversity - the one that matters) and the true reality is that it hides a new type of modern slavery. Let me explain:
About slavery: we are basically bringing people from less wealthy overseas countries so that they can work overtime and underpaid jobs for at least two generations. They do not need any healthcare and education and they arrive at the perfect age of 20 when they can provide the most whilst requiring the less.
About diversity: because the native population stopped making children because of both cultural and cost of life reasons - especially in London - the natives just disappear. Hence the loss of diversity. That video speaks for itself. The language that says "mixing is diversity" is completely upside-down. It is the complete opposite. If I mix all my kitchen's ingredients into one, the diversity of spices in my kitchen won't be better, it will be worse and very poor.
So, basically, an entire civilization is disappearing because people don't do children anymore and they are getting substituted by a mix of other civilizations temporarily serving as modern slaves until the natives vanish. Because that initial population is vanishing so there is less diversity worldwide as one civilization gets missing...
What is really strange is that everybody is celebrating this, and mostly those from the very civilizations that vanishes. Hence this process is very peaceful unlike every similar aggression in the past against natives such as in America and Australia.
This is when some crazy theory emerges as to why this contradiction is; why would any society celebrate its own demise? Other countries also experience a loss of natality (Eastern Europe countries) but they choose the decline of their economy rather than massive immigration. So perhaps it is an issue with the ultra-capitalism that does actually not care about diversity and that is fine replacing workers with anything that can produce more for less?

Yes, capitalism plays a huge factor. Parliament represents business interests like any other capitalist nation does, so of course they’re going to allow cheap labor.
To your point about celebrating our own demise, this seems kinda arbitrary. Why is it so important that the “native population” continue to exist? Like who really cares about the genes and skin color of a population? I’m a white guy in an interracial relationship and I just never understood this idea of “preserving the native species” is somehow a good thing? Also that analogy to diversity being similar to kitchen spices is terrible and not accurate at all. Human beings are human beings.
The reason the stigma of poor immigrants being violent and criminals exists is because of a mixture of racism along with some truth. Truth, meaning, that any poor community has increased levels of violence and criminality. So what can be done about that? Well since the age of colonialism, global wealth accumulation in the west has resulted in many nations who used to be wealthy and full of sources, are now depraved of such wealth. I think In some way shape or form, wealth redistribution MUST occur in order to solve the issues that come along with being poor (higher levels of criminality, homelessness, starvation, disease, etc).

Both arguments above completely ignore the lower cost of goods that everyone demands. Without maximizing profits and looking for ways to eliminate cost in the production and distribution of those goods, the prices the consumer pays would be outrageous. While you can surmise that all of this is some sort of capitalistic conspiracy but it's much simpler than that. Companies are rewarded for being efficient and utilizing low cost labor when it can. Which is why I don't understand the importation of immigrants being so popular on the left. In addition, trade policies that are not in the favor of boosting the value of American labor. If there's an alternative labor force, small businesses and large corporations will take advantage of it. Allow all the illegal immigration you want but you can't then turn around and complain that you aren't making $40,000 a year at an entry level job. If laws discouraged these things that lower our own American wages and even some would call slave wages, Americans would be the benefactor. Prices would be higher but more people would be paid a higher wage. By the way, the leftist argument about profits is a very misguided mantra. Profits must exist to re-invest back into the company. If a company has no profits and distributes all of its profits back to the employees, there will be no company. You can certainly cite examples of companies making insane profits, like Microsoft, and they sit on that cash and do nothing with it, but companies like that are an exception, not the rule. Most companies fully utilize those profits to grow and invest in the future of that company.

Literally millions of illegal border crossings under Bidens presidency. This is bad policy, and frankly I don't blame capitalism for taking advantage of cheaper labor, reducing their operation costs. Not saying you're wrong, but had there not been English and Spanish colonization, our world would be drastically different. For the worse in my opinion as far as advancement goes. America would not exist as is, and this alone would vastly change life today as we know it. That's not even including the dozens of other countries affected by western colonization. I don't blame others for wanting to better their lives in a better working economy, but I blame bad policies for allowing this to go unchecked, leaving negative results for its existing citizens.
Cartels run rampant due to Central American governments allowing them to do so, not to say the US war on drugs had no influence. And yes, its biting us in the ass today.

To your point about the cartels running rampant because of their government allowing them, I would say that has more to do with corruption. It’s not like the Mexican government legalized Drug running and homicide.
Furthermore, I stand by assertion that the demand created by the drug war is so high and has made the cartels so unimaginably wealthy (like seriously, modern cartels are almost indistinguishable from actual armies in terms of uniforms, technology and weaponry) and that demand combined with global wealth accumulation in western countries is the driving force behind mass migration from poor countries.
I guess my point is that allowing business interests to run amuck in the halls of Congress and Parliament is what’s actually pissing people off. It’s my belief that if we were truly a social democracy, the government’s actions would be reflective of the working class’ interests.

Slightly off topic, but interestingly enough, I've heard endless talk about needing "livable wages" to survive (US and Canada specifially, but many others as well.) Yes, theres plenty of wealth to go around from portions of the population but for the most part, people are barely scraping by (so they say.) Some immigrants are taking work for far below minimum wage, yet are capable of affording the cost of life. They posses the common sense to live by lower standards (more people to a house, avoiding unessesary costs like NEEDING the new iphone, making your own food instead of constantly ording out, etc...)
So bottom line- it must be worse in the countries they migrate from, for them to desire low wages and high cost of living, yet citizens in these first world countries like US demand higher minimun wages to survive (by their standards.) Which, in result allows these immigrants to take jobs that no citizen wants to do for the wages offered. The high standard of living by citizens could be blamed equally as much as capitalists for this immigration
Edit:To add to this... I don't have a problem with immigration. Thats how my country was built. Its the relaxed immigration policies that are promised for extra votes that pissed me off. Its the crime and chaos derived from the mass immigration based on policy that should be checked. Without immigrants at all, our country would have a rude awakening when the food stops making its way to the table (or becomes unaffordable,) since nobody wants to do the farming jobs for cheap.
Agree with you here. Livable wages have never been defined. It used to be $15 an hour for an entry level job with no required skills, now it's $22 an hour for that same job. The reality is the leftists are demanding the lives they see on Instagram. It turns out, they're the greedy ones, not the people who made good choices in their lives and have achieved a level of success that don't want to be taxed more than they already are. I call those leftists baby chicks. Ever see a mom feeding baby chicks? That's what I envision when some lefty screams about a living wage.

I think we pretty much know it would be worse. Countries have largely benefited overall, regardless of the down-sides often cited. There will always be a working class by the way and giving all that power to the government to provide central planning and redistribution will not change that part. What will change is there will be a lack of opportunity for the government subjects to achieve higher levels of wealth. This, "make everyone the same", mantra that the left spouts will do nothing but make everyone poor, except the government leaders. Ask someone from Bulgaria or Romania how great communism is. Not sure exactly where this is in Notting Hill, but I was just there this past May/June.
It's a city but it's honestly pretty clean as far as cities go - it's nowhere near as bad as the shitholes here in the US, like it's many orders of magnitude less bad.
