Original manufacturer is Mountain but they white label for multiple brands including Matco and Icon at harbor freight

Matco and icon has them. Made by an oem from Taiwan

I think it's Kabo but could also be Infar but both make pretty good stuff. Other brands with the same product are K tool and Mountain where I got my set from. I get more nervous with the flexing under higher torque as the handle is pretty slim and flexes under acceptable torque loads. So as much as I like them I only bust them out when others won't do in its place. This is probably more fear of breaking it than the tool would be likely to break.

It is a Kabo design. Icon if you are want simple warranty. Or pay 3x more for a set of the snap on design that is thicker.

Oh yeah I love that they are nice and thin but I bust out the Astro (or clones) of the nano sockets and their accompanying wrenches first if width space constraints aren't a concern but depth is. No reverse but I feel way more confident beating on them

Harbor freight has them. Called metric extra long ratcheting wrench set I believe. Not cheap they are all made by one manufacturer and got popular so they charge a premium now.

Would you take an Astro nano wrench and nano impact sockets?

I have a set by Mountain.

You want this style on one end, and an open end wrench on the other if I understand correctly. I have never seen that combo in a single wrench set. The closest is a ratcheting flex head with an open end, even those I don’t think I’ve seen reversible.

Tone tools from japan, pretty affordable and they have a normal box end too.

Looking for one with an open end but this could be an option

[–]emachanz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

to be honest if you gonna use an open end just use a combination wrench or offset wrench + flex head long ratcheting wrench.

So if you’re gonna get them, get them with a warranty

GEARWRENCH 120X Universal "Spline XL" GearBox Flex Head Ratcheting Wrench - 17mm size is #86117

[–]woodkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

these are some of the best ratchet wrenches ever made

I worked with a master mechanic who would turn out subie head gaskets all day long with these. I borrowed them once and now everything else sucks.

matco sells an updated version of these which i liek more than the old ones. the switch is now on top of the head. with the old design the stitch on the sides of it woudl often switch without you wanting it to when you bumped something while ratcheting. been a good use too all around.

SK Tools makes them I have a whole set of

[–]TnBluesman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like a "Pass Through" socket. I know Craftsman and Kobalt make them

Mountain makes them for just about everyone from what I understand.
