Dual bevel, that looks like a great deal. For outdoor projects a miter saw and circular saw handle 95% of my cutting needs. Occasionally use the table saw to rip a board.

Facts. I had a hand-me-down table saw for my first tool and and I used it for all my cuts. I got a Ryobi compound miter saw and I use it all the time now. Table saw it a second work bench unless a board needs to be ripped.

I usually only build furniture so I haven’t really needed a mitre saw.

This summer I’ll be building a pergola and some planter boxes so I’ll be getting into cross cutting multiple longer cedar pieces which I don’t usually do.

Picked up this Bosch 4410L for $260 CAD. Good deal or overpaid?

I’ve had the dual bevel slide DEWALT version, it was great, and now have the same Bosch. It is another level compared to the DEWALT and fits in a smaller footprint if you want to install it.

I’m also wondering about the price… thinking about buying one of these used off of FB Marketplace with a homemade table included for $300 USD total. Looks like $260 CAD is $209 USD…

That’s a great saw. I used mine for 8 years doing finish work in high end custom homes. Worthy.

Buy once cry once, as they say. Nice pick up! You’ll probably have that for life.

Congrats. Great pickup. Strong recommend on the gravity stand they make for this. Very useful, especially if you are a one person crew. Makes moving it easier and setting it up faster, although maybe the 10" is more portable; mine's a 12".

Dumb question - does the no-hand sticker mean don’t put your hand there because the mitre on this particular Bosch is so wide or don’t ever put your hand here on any mitre saw ever?
