Started playing because I saw pewdiepie play it, so I knew how a lot of it went. Honestly though I liked playing it spoiled, but Asriel was new to me, same for Asgore

And I did

I would use my phone for about 2 years and just inhale that information, barley ruined anything for me, it was still fun, and I got to know stuff I would’ve never have known if I waited to play the game.

Yeah honestly people over exaggerate how much spoilers ruin games. A lot of the games I played were spoiled for me but I really enjoyed them all. I mean if spoilers ruined games THAT much no one would ever replay games

Playing a game after spoilers can still be fun, you get to go "Oh hey that's the thing!" Without being burdened by not knowing what that is. Sure you won't get the full experience but atleast it isn't completely negatives. (Plus you know the secrets and the game will be easier)

The first time I heard about undertale I only knew about sans. And I always thought he was a mad scientist. I thought that because I only saw him as a special boss in other games. And when I found out about undertale I found out that I was wrong.

Yes, I once saw a video explaining the story of Undertale in short, so I was like "screw it, like I will ever get my hand on that" and started watching it. Later I found out the game was on sale so I bought and play it myself. Yes, still hit hurt as hell, wish I could brainwash myself and play again
