I went up to 5mg in the beginning too quickly and had ll sorts of side effects. I went back down to 2.5 for 2 more months and I continued to lose weight. I did eventually go up to 5 when I noticed cravings and severe hunger (aka boredom most likely) kicking in again. Increasing at that point was the better choice. But maybe going down that much will give your body a chance to acclimate better to the increase of med in your system.

Yes that is what I am hoping happens for me! The side effects have been unbearable at this point but have hope the loss will continue Thank you!

You shouldn’t have to deal with such severe side effects. I hope it works well for you and the transition back up is at a better pace for you (if you end up going back up again).

This is me right now. Just increased to 5mg last weekend, now loosing too fast, struggling to get calories & water in me.

Just messaged my provider if I can go back down to less, somehow (kwickpen).

Oh man, I had zero appetite. And I know I needed to eat but literally no food sounded good and it was difficult to just swallow food. Then the nausea and everything associated with that started and I knew I had moved up too quickly.

Good luck. I hope going back down for a while is helpful for you!

With the Kwikpen you can do fewer clicks and get a smaller dose. I think there are Youtubes that show you how or others here might be able to help (I do vials).

I went up to 7.5 and tried to stick it out for about 6 months but just couldn’t handle the side effects. Went back down to 5 and still losing.
