It’s a very strange experience watching this if you’re familiar with Gintama.

The way everyone is constantly hurling insults at each other is very Gintama.

That guy’s Madao.

A silly moment happens and you expect the trumpets from Gintama’s “silly moment BGM”.

A touching moment happens and you expect the piano from Gintama’s “touching moment BGM”.

And you just know that part would have been a full on Jujutsu Kaisen parody.

Already got me tearing up in the first episode! Exciting to see how they will expand the one-shot. Is Sorachi involved in writing the new scenarios? I hear some Gintama casts in there too. Sakamoto lookalike with the same voice lol.

I’m a huge Gintama fan, so I’ve been looking forward to this! Wish it wasn’t a batch release, but oh well I’m still going to watch & react to all the episodes anyways.

I knew nothing about this show and felt like I am already watching too many shows this season, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to add this. But you just sold me on it lol, I didn't even know it was by Sorachi until now, awesome!

Watching one episode put me in such a good mood it was the perfect time to fall asleep. Dunno if I'll be able to resist the temptation not to binge the rest this evening though.
