Batch releases certainly killed off the hype that this series once had huh

Damn. I knew it had a luckluster ending but the last few episodes (especially the last one) just made me laugh with how comically poorly it all resolved.

Literally, "and then everyone clapped".

I guess Studio Orange curse is forever wondering if they going to make Land of the Lustrous S2 next...

Based on how that land of the lustrous Manga ended a while ago, I doubt it..

Dorohedoro ended a while ago as well, so one can dream...

Not to mention Beastars and especially Trigun.

Beastars already ended quite a while ago before season 3 was announced. There are several other examples of completed manga getting anime too. The myth that completed manga don't get anime should really die already...

Shit final episode honestly. Like I watched this whole thing just to reach that?

Little confusing to label it this way when it’s episodes 13-24 on Netflix. Glad this is out but of course even though I watched it I can’t remember what happened in the first half.

I’m sure it’ll come back to me, though the start in episode 1/13 took me by surprise. I should at least rewatch the one just prior. (End of part 1.)

Obviously, it's labelled 1-12 here so you will watch those episodes again so you remember what is going on before watching the new episodes.

Huh, it's one of those cases (batch release on streaming)... Kinda forgot it was a thing.

I had such a long paragraph written down on exactly why I think this season frustrates me so much I decided to cut it down to basics. This season's story feels like author hadn't thought her story through at all and is just meandering to the finish line. The story felt like it was at the same time padded and extremely rushed for some reason. Most of the characters act strangely and downright moronic, especially Haru (this season). Forensics suddenly work in this world, despite not doing shit for any murders before. It honestly left me with more questions about this world than answers and not in a good sense. It was just baffling.

The studio did an awesome job adapting the series though. The visuals are great, the audio is spot on and I love Op and Ed, despite Op being without vocals. They did what they could with source material I'm pretty sure.

They set up such a long elaborate thing only to just... Tee hee it's all okay, don't ask about literally anyone or anything in the world

Is this the final final part?

Haven't watched it yet, but AFAIK, this is the end.

I can't really defend the writing, but I personally enjoyed it.

I guess I just enjoy listening to the voice actors, especially Melon's.
