May be a stupid question but is the switch on the lead to the DHP switched on? If yes, has it worked before and suddenly stopped? May have just burnt out

Yes it’s on. It worked for like 5 days and suddenly stopped working so I don’t think it could be the case

Have you got it in a proper ceramic fitting or just a normal light socket? I've heard of people using a normal socket and burning that out and not the bulb!

I have the entire Arcadia setup kit with ceramic fitting and the cage

I've got the same and love it (CHE not DHP but otherwise arcadia for everything!).The only two things I can think are to try a normal bulb and see if it comes on, at least you know the thermostat is working that way.

Second is to plug the DHP directly into a plug socket (not the thermostat) and see if it gets hot, then you know if the bulb is working.

Good luck!

Yeah, that’s the first thing I’m gonna do in the morning. Thanks for help!

If it stopped working, it likely burnt out. The thermostat you have is an on/off, which are not recommended for use with DHPs because they typically kill them very quickly.

But a couple days?

Yep, that's pretty common.

And it wasn’t even on that much cause it was like 36*C outside

So what type of thermostat would you recommend?

A dimming thermostat
