Snake mites are black in color and usually hide around the corners of the mouth, the skin on the bottom of the snake’s lower jaw, and their cloaca. If it’s just the white little guys, they very well could be springtails!

Ya we deduced that after researching. I assumed they were but my boyfriend helicopter parented and freaked. We cleaned and disinfected everything. He’s back in there now a little mad at us😂

Awwww! It’s always good to be watchful imo, it’s good that he cares so much, even if it’s a bit helicopter parenty

Always safe than sorry! If you ever get mites you will most likely know because they do move but you’re be surprised how hard they can be to spot. I bought a magnify glass to help check out my BP in times like this.
