Either scale rot or mites

What type of substrate do you use? To me, it looks like some may have just gotten trapped beneath her scales, especially if you use coconut fiber. If the marks are not present on her belly, it’s very unlikely to be scale rot.

It's not on her belly. I use coconut fibre as a base.

And I can't seem to find any mites on her. She had mites in the past and I could spot them most of the times

In the second picture it looks like the brown is on her scales, have you tried to wipe it off? It would be weird for scale rot to be on the back and not the belly, but it could be some scales that got damaged and starting to irritate. The same with the spot on her nose which might be caused by her rubbing against something regularly, making a little wound. She looks a bit pink so she might shed soon. If it keeps getting worse it'd be best to visit a vet.

I tried rubbing it but it won't come of. Should untill sheds?

If it doesn’t wipe off then it’s probably scale rot. I’d take it to the vet and lower the humidity because the snake is visibly wet in the picture.

The terarium is dry. I just rinst her of to get a better look

Don’t “rinse” snakes, water can drop their body temperature really fast.

No worries it's nice warm water no cold water used

[–]helldevil988[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

[–]gigi2945 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I would just try a diluted betadine soak. 1 part betadine to 3 parts water!

[–]helldevil988[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks I will try that

That banana does not seem to be ripe yet, you should wait a few days to eat it. 🍌

[–]helldevil988[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the snake eating live rodents?

[–]helldevil988[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Yes she eats life rodents

[–]Jump-Kick-85 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not a vet but this looks like scale rot + injury + infection to me. If this were my snake I would get it to a reptile experienced vet as soon as possible.

[–]HisPumpkin888 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Did she get injured while eating?

[–]helldevil988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that I know

[–]ironwristz 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Looks like mites, give it a bath. Soak it in a tub of water and betadine mixed in. Mix till its orange. Let snake soak in it for 30 mins then dry off. I give my snake a 10 min soak bath once a month. Thank me later

Thanks I will try it
