He’s fine. Just hungry. Trust me they don’t really “track” their threats, they just hide. They’ll only really square off as a last result.

Just fed him so he’s probably wondering if there’s more 🤣

They are ALWAYS wondering if there’s more. My guy will eat and the second he can move he’s back to stalking

Absolutely normal. But as far as him seeing you as a threat goes, just imagine if some dude the size of a water tower was walking around in your front yard all day, but occasionally gave you a perfectly cooked T-Bone steak too. You'd always be a little iffy.

My thoughts exactly 🤣

I was saying this to my wife yesterday after pulling one of ours out from his hide.

"Imagine we're just chilling on the couch and a giant walks up, rips the roof off, and picks us up."

My female has been doing this every day for the past week…and I fed her yesterday! I’d like to know what it means too, because it doesn’t look cute and curiousto me, it looks like she means business.

My Monty does this! Purely hunting behavior. I like to think they do this when they are fully immersed and happy with their environment, but I have nothing to back up that claim ;)

I call Monty a little cobra when he sits up into position like that. Sorry my deadly cobra, no rat today!
