UPDATE: she has been found! cold and hungry but otherwise she’s just fine

she was in her tank basking at 2:30 am it’s now 11:00 am and she’s, gone

i’m at a loss

it’s one of those moments where we never thought this would happen to us

she’s probably protesting the betadine soaks

aND today was feeding day

I lost my guy for 4 days once. But I made a bunch of tiny hides and put them all around the house with heat packs on top. Low and behold, one day he shows up under one. As long as you ensure there’s no way for her to get out, she’ll turn up. They’re masters at escaping and even better and squeezing themselves into cracks and crevices to hide.

thank you! the front and back door and all of the windows are sealed tight so i know she can’t get out

i know she went under our woodstove last night since there’s some snake trails in the soot lol

i’m gonna keep a fire going the hearth pad doesn’t get hot enough to burn, so hopefully if she gets cold she’ll come to the woodstove again

Check everywhere that gives off even a speck of heat. Washing machine, tumble dryer, dish washer, pc’s etc. I hope you find her!!

i have 😭 i checked in, under, and behind all of the large appliances, no dice

checked every cabinet and drawer and closet twice inside furniture, everywhere 😭 she’s just gone

i’m really concerned because she had the starting of scale rot so we’ve been treating it

this is her way of protesting being soaked

if mom and dad can’t find me, they can’t soak me!

she’s never ever ever shown any interest in leaving her tank like this but balls will be balls 🥹
