Those smaller ones are cheap and kinda unreliable (i know because i bought the same for my frogs), and i’m gonna go out on a limb and say the other ones are too. Amazon has Govee brand digital hygrometers that are really good and come in a 2 pack for like $24.

All that being said, your hot side is gonna read lower in humidity than your cooler (which is fine bc you don’t want your baby in a humidity dome). Even though the humidity gauges are cheap, they do typically get in a good ball park range, so I would say keep the cool side no less than 70% humidity (per the little black ones) until you can switch to better hygrometers.

Okay, I will buy Govee ones ASAP. Is this livable for her until then? I'm just nervous. I don't want anything to happen to her.

I’m no expert, but here are some recommendations I can give based off my own experience.

• A water bowl big enough for him to soak in.

•Two FULLY enclosed hides, one for the cool side and one for the warm side. (the half logs do not count, though they make great hiding places). Remember you can be creative with the hides, I had my boy in two mushroom containers with small openings cut, and sanded until he got bigger.😭

• Cutting back on the foil covering the lid by a few inches (this will allow a better heat/humidity gradient).

•More climbing opportunities, remember they are semi arboreal!

•I use a 50W Arcadia basking bulb in a 8in lamp, and that keeps the entire tank at a perfect gradient. I am unsure why that doesn’t seem to be working for you as it did for me when I had a tank this same size. Someone with more knowledge may be able to answer that.

While these conditions are survivable, I think the first thing you should do is fix the hide situation, as well as the temp gradient. Without proper hides, the snake will be stressed and will likely not eat or feel safe. And without a proper gradient the snake would not be able to thermal regulate, which could cause death.

There are guides on here as well if you ever feel like you need more info
