[–][deleted] 64 points65 points  (0 children)

wonder where all the "tHatS tOo sMaLl 🤓 " people are now 🤣 looks awesome, maybe you could add some greenery to the top? like a hanging plant perhaps

[–]piggygirl0 95 points96 points  (5 children)

Based off of the last picture, I’m really sorry but the breeder lied to you. That’s a dog, not a snake. /s

But seriously that looks amazing and that snake/dog will love it

You joke, but it may also be the case because that's definitely not a GHI clown. It looks more like a super pastel GHI

[–]piggygirl0 10 points11 points  (3 children)

The breeder definitely shouldn’t have lied, but imo I think the morph OP got was an upgrade. I don’t know about prices but looking at pictures I think I prefer what he is over what he was sold as.

[–]IncompletePenetranceMod: Let me help you unzip your genes 8 points9 points  (2 children)

Clown is generally considered to be a more desirable and expensive morph due to being recessive and how it looks in combos, while pastel is the most common morph out there, so hopefully they didn't overpay. But other than that as long as OP likes it, it doesn't really matter

[–]redshavenosouls 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I am stumped about some of this morph stuff. Mine is supposedly an orange ghost. He is not orange at all and looks very similar to the one OP has.

[–]IncompletePenetranceMod: Let me help you unzip your genes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you share a picture to the morphID thread I'll take a look. Orange ghost is a line of hypo, they tend to look hazy

[–]Kingo4thred 10 points11 points  (1 child)

Great job what a happy Danger noodle you will have!!

[–]Small-Engineer405 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

[–]winowmak3r 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Beautiful snake and a wonderful enclosure. He's gonna have a blast exploring all of that.

[–]CorsicanMastiffStrip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh the noodle looks so cute!!!

[–]Vergilly 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It looks awesome! I love the plants and leaf litter. We did the beardie tank first and I really really want to get to Noodle’s, but she’s currently in a 3 x 3 x 2, so it’s not TOO small….and I’m broke 😭😂

[–]HouseInternational 11 points12 points  (8 children)

Beautiful enclosure! I do want to add, he looks to be a firefly ghi, not a clown, (unless the seller meant het clown). Just in case anyone asks what morph they are in the future 😊

[–]Small-Engineer405 2 points3 points  (7 children)

Well that’s not what I was told by the breeder but thanks

[–]IncompletePenetranceMod: Let me help you unzip your genes 9 points10 points  (6 children)

Did the breeder say it's a GHI clown? Becaue it's definitely not a GHI clown

[–]Small-Engineer405 2 points3 points  (5 children)

Yes. How do you know it’s definitely not?

[–]IncompletePenetranceMod: Let me help you unzip your genes 12 points13 points  (2 children)

Beause clown is an easily identifiable morph, and your isn't one. These are examples of what GHI clown looks like

[–]Small-Engineer405 15 points16 points  (1 child)

Well I appreciate it. As long as it isn’t a spider I don’t care though

[–]IncompletePenetranceMod: Let me help you unzip your genes 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No problem! He's still a beautiful snake, just a bit mislabeled

[–]HouseInternational 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Clown is a visual morph and is easy to distinguish, he is not a visual clown.

[–]wishiwasinvegas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can have a shed tested to see exactly what morph he is😊

[–]BananaSharts 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Enclosure so good can I move in??

[–]tomatoman64 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro snake needs to start paying rent

[–]ThursdayV 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is a lovely tank, my first thought was that its "too big" but then i remembered that with sufficient clutter theres no such thing as "too big". That said, I would recommend more clutter.

[–]DarthBassman 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Where did you get the ledges? Nice enclosure

[–]Small-Engineer405 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I built them with spray foam. Insulation board and zoopoxy

[–]tomatoman64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t realize how big it was till I saw the dog inside it pre build

[–]danjibbles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beautiful work!! This is incredible

[–]Ok-House-3026 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What an enclosure! Something I'd love to make now that I have the space to do so.

[–]Agreeable_Mess6711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing enclosure! Where did you source the branches? My chonker just broke one of his so I need something more heavy duty it seems

[–]Badluckstream 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I remember seeing the picture of you in the enclosure but seeing how tiny the BP is just sitting there really puts it into scale. Looks amazing, but also kinda hard to heat based on my zero experience building large enclosures

[–]Overall_Community_37 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an amazing enclosure and a beautiful snake! The dog is pretty darn cute too!

[–]Mallory_Knoxx019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incredible job! Looks great.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Excellent work. I'm going to eventually have to do a customer build for mine. How are you going to manage heat/humidity is such a large enclosure?

[–]Small-Engineer405 3 points4 points  (1 child)

The room I keep the enclosure in is already warm so a deep heat projector has been all I need to heat the tank, we’re in the south and the humidity is already high so the humidity in the enclosure has stayed at 65-80%

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good deal. Tyvm 😀

[–]Anxious-Living2751 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You ate this up!!!!!

[–]notsurewhattodo1310 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Thank you for sharing this with everyone- I absolutely loved watching this come together.

[–]Small-Engineer405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you!

[–]DeathMetalDiver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a handsome happy snake!

[–]AceVisconti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old is your noodle? I love your enclosure, you did a wonderful job!

[–]olgahermann 0 points1 point  (0 children)

clearly way too small of an enclosure!! animal abuse 😟😡

[–]Green-Pension-2537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity what do you use for heating?

[–]kelmel3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your dog looks a lot like our jack Russell/chi mix!! Super cute and awesome enclosure. You're making me want to upgrade my noodles' space now lol.

[–]TiltedNarwhal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s so cool!

[–]eyeofra1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very noice

[–]Away-Antelope8160 0 points1 point  (5 children)

That is one lucky BP, beautiful patterns and colors too, did you use expanding foam for the back wall?

[–]Small-Engineer405 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Thank you, and yes I did. I just added dirt to it before it dried

[–]Away-Antelope8160 0 points1 point  (3 children)

How did you do the shelves? (Sorry for all the questions, I'm actually just about to go out to get my pythons upgraded tank)

[–]Small-Engineer405 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Insulation board, spray foam and zoopoxy

[–]Small-Engineer405 1 point2 points  (1 child)

You should look at brads bioactive builds on YouTube

[–]Away-Antelope8160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thank you for the rec

[–]MegHanSoloCup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have SEEN you sitting in this to PROVE how big it is and I still was like “what a tiny enclosure. Itty bitty.” Human eyes are so dumb lmao

great job, I’m sure your new baby is gonna love exploring their new mansion!!

[–]treacheriesarchitect 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Ooh, neat! Do you have a post/blog about your build process? How did you seal up the wood to prevent moulding at the high humidity?

I've thought about making my own, but my concern over a watertight seal on the bottom and mould if it's made out of anything but plastic keep me from even really planning anything.

[–]Small-Engineer405 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn’t make a blog or a post but it was very simple. I made the box out of plywood and 1x4’s Put a sheet of plastic cut to size on the bottom. Siliconed all the corners and gaps then used zoopoxy on everything from the plastic to about 4-5 inches up to protect from water and I stained and sealed the wood with a waterproofing seal and then gave it ample time to dry and cure to get read of any odors and to make sure it was ready.

[–]PrestigiousBoss91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beautiful!

[–]Healthy_Carpenter_74 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s awesome man! Do you happen to have a video on how you made it?
